  1. Anything stupid going on that we should avoid? Been watching the cams and the weekdays have been looking marvelously uncrowded. Any locals advise otherwise?
  2. Then count aisle posts if you like. 192 posts to ride Diamondback.
  3. I count steps in line. Last year someone asked me how long the Flight of Fear wait was when I exited and I told them 292 steps...but that morning it was over 400. He told me to kindly do something 'off'.
  4. They need to put seatbelts on log rides...maaaan.
  5. Either Corkscrew or Super-Loop. I was too scared to ride Screamin' Demon when I was wee little. My cousin rode it with my dad though and then it was gone the next time we went back a year or two later.
  6. I wear a tie-die shirt with spikes on the back to prevent this. (Tie-die shirt to hide the self created tie-die metal spikes I constructed). Only because I am an enthusiast...and because I care. The last boyfriend bear hugging his acne faced girlfriend from behind...that was behind me last year creeping onto my hidden ambush...does'nt have a girlfriend today. Not tie-dye...get it? TIE-DIE! Edit: I don't know the proper way to spell tye-dye or tie-dye.
  7. How do you know how much money they have? Perhaps all the rich people are at Cedar Point?
  8. I loved that House of Cards along with the Shaggy's Silly Stix area...although I can't imagine I would make much use of it nowadays. I just liked that little corner of the park. I also miss the heavily themed railroad portions and the vine laden tunnel. The Rivertown portion of the park back in the 80's seemed to me to be similar to Cedar Point's Frontier Trail with its trees and shade and general pioneer town feel. I also really miss the waterfall as I loved strolling through that rocky area.
  9. Jeez that water slide! Do you have to stick a wedge of wood in your crack so as not to have your swim trunks surgically removed from your intestine?
  10. Personally, I want a @#&%$% boat and water dark ride. With music playing the whole time! And things to actually be animated...and to get yelled at over the loudspeakers to keep my hands in the boat from the dude hiding behind the prop bush over there... Even if its the craptastic smurfs man. Ouch. I know...I watched the cartoon every Saturday morn...but I really loved the Gummi Bears, Muppet Babies, Peewees Playhouse and Dungeon and Dragons more. And Galaxi High...for the very few who remember that one.
  11. Good ol' Doug Adair and Gail Hogan, with a fresh faced Cabot Rea on the side. Ol' Cabot bonked his head pretty good on the OTSR of Top Gun.
  12. I just built a SOB replica in my backyard. Perhaps this would go well as the train for it?
  13. ^^ Probably the closing of Shoot the Rapids.
  14. That looks like a dark ride marking to me. Without a doubt.
  15. YAY! I'm glad. Even if it just cosmetically reduces fears and anxieties.
  16. Duder... I came flying in here to post the very question you answered. My mind was blown when I saw that pic because I would have sworn up and down that Zodiac was long gone before Flight Commander. The funny thing is though, that the location of the two from that pic would be similar somewhat. Looking back at the pic again, I suppose one would see The Racer supports to give it away if it would have been KI.
  17. So you think that area is specifically to brace the lift eh?
  18. Was wondering about that myself. It looks like it is built into the ground in the POV.
  19. More pictures! More descriptions! I'm sitting here at work unfortunately...
  20. I want a button up bowling shirt. I don't do t-shirts or polo's.
  21. On that of which doesn't exist, and we shall not name by name... darn, does she look like she is flying. I can't believe it. I was excited before, but I am speechless now...er, not 'typeless' however.
  22. I wish they had a wait limit at all parks...for I don't like to wait in line. Or even a weight limit. That would clear the lines nicely here in the Midwest. ::rimshot::
  23. Give me an enjoyable up and down... Or a smooth B&M. I have rather enjoyed my time on Diamondback, Wild Eagle and Gatekeeper the last few years. I don't feel beat up...hoping the same with our eerie female. I can't imagine otherwise though. Not at all. Although I can't get over my Maverick. *when he's running I might add with a frowning face.
  24. The POV of The Smiler makes me have nasuea. Not certain why. Another coaster I watched with excited enthusiasm last year. They were quite viral with it. It looks hard to ride however...not the biggest fan of multiple, multiple inversions. But then again, Banshee is just an inversion machine as well. Oh lordy my aging body. It made fun of my parents so long ago...and now it makes fun of me.
