  1. Yeah corkscrew isn't going anywhere anytime soon, it's ridership is still fairly decent comparing to other rides namely one in the back that everyone wants to burn. Also being a family ride for starters and still pretty thrilling and can stay up in some moderate weather, it's a great ride. No-one better touch my baby :-)
  2. Watched the show again last night. If you really watch what you're not supposed to be watching, you can really see how most tricks work btw. Also as for music soundhound didn't pick anything up so I'll have to try again
  3. So I'm now up and figured I'd chime in. I have uploaded pictures to view of the construction site with my new phone as I was testing it. Ignore some pictures in there as again testing. Anyways few new footers being built since I was there last week, and the biggest new development someone touched up on somewhere else, is in the conglomerate of footers in the top left of the site and where the two rectangular footers are there are now "footers" with no studs sticking out it them, just orange "vents." There are quite a few of these out there and I'm not sure as for what anyways here are the pictures let me know what you think: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/bml5rrb1xjahidc/6pM1tY4qv5
  4. Not sure if network is just that congested or possibly site, mobile taking quite some time to paid wheras other full sites load just fine, even the kic homepage is fine
  5. Was doing security for a steampunk event, and one guys costume had an officer's missilier badge (people responsible for turning the key to bring hell on Earth). I stopped him and asked him about it, his story said he retired as an E-4 (Senior Airman, 3-ish years minimum service, max I think is 10?), and was in the bunker (officers job, not enlisted). I had my fun letting him ramble on and tell lies, then pulled out true military jargon every one of us knows, and he was all confused. I love catching people in lies, especially when it involves the military, posers **** me off way too much.
  6. Hahahahahaha take that bird... You have no clue the animosity cp ride ops have towards birds.... Corkscrew took out 8 while I was there, I was so proud of her
  7. I concur with you as posted in my last trip report. I however believe this to be due to bad wheels/flat spots on wheels from not transferring units off the whole night possibly. I will give it time to see if the action is corrected, as wheels are expensive to replace so it may not be on the "to do" list. DB was smooth it's inagural year, and you can't argue there, so do give it another chance.
  8. HTCO, where do you work at KI, if at all btw? Your attitude with people here at KIC after the ridiculous stunt you pulled hopefully isn't a reflection of your work ethic at the park as well, I'd be quite disappointed to hear that if this is the case.
  9. B&M has transfer tables with trains side by side, but also Intamin has done this, premier rides (look at Poltergeist), Arrow, ect. To me the cleared area with many square footings to me will be the station or transfer table. Right now footers tell us nothing other than somewhere in that vicinity, track will be above it. If you took an overhead print of all poured footers, you could make a giant game of connect the dots with several different variations. The only footer conclusive evidence so far is the cutout on the top as someone already mentioned. That's all we have to base our knowledge on, we have no other information. The only other information I can say we possibly have, is we do have the manufacturer for B&M track nextdoor basically and can be watched closely to see if anything happens, however that source is quite silent. I say this, lets relax and wait until something special happens soon, as for now it's just a bunch of leg pulling, diversions, and false hopes
  10. This is why we can't have nice things...always one person that screws it over for the rest of us...learned that really quick in the military
  11. Man I love seeing those photos zoomed in especially with equipment and people next to them, really shows off the size of those things. Very very impressive...hopefully were not too far off from seeing more than footers be poured, I'd def like to see new developments other than concrete shapes with rebar and studs lol
  12. Invertegirl...I'd stop while you're ahead...no one is buying your ****
  13. I look at it this way...I'll decode if we get info or pics, ect. with developments. However, all of this talk of, ZOMG, this, and WTF that...no...Concrete evidence, bigger developments than holes in the ground in already developed and known areas, and more proof of what we're looking for waiting. Saying you know stuff & this & that, whatever, I don't care. Until I see proof or factual evidence & logic to backup that claim, it's a whatever and will be ignored. So unless you feel like you want to contribute and have information to share, shutup and watch like the rest of the guests on this forum without accounts, as you're doing nothing but adding more pages and posts to a 250 page thread that hasn't gotten anywhere since 2100 last night... /endrant
  14. Corkscrew restraints are pretty easy to work with, I can get a good bit of people in. Theres only a few I cant honestly. If the belt fits you're good, but if the restraint goes above the bars on the side of the car it's a no go at all, even if the belt fits. Those are the two critera for a closed restraint
  15. No I wasn't talking about preferred parking, farther over to the right, If I was up on Eiffel Tower I'd show you lol
  16. Note for parking lot area fenced off. Is this the same area I reported on 19JUL? There was an area over by the RV/Big bus area that had two little pavillion thingies (white tent things) next to it? Pics of area please too, even if it's nothing special, at least show us what you're talking about?
  17. My gf works tower...thank God she's off or I'd never hear the end of it
  18. 1. Any Arrows, prefer custom loopers & megas 2. Intamin Blitz 3. Traditional woodie w/ PTC 4. Modern Woodies 5. Giga Coasters, any manufacturer
  19. Yeah, I have difficulty riding Disaster Transport now too. Wow haha, I just pulled that all off their website, they messed up
  20. That last video with the shot of kindle as the video cover...he looks so ****ed lol
  21. That's one way out, there is also another way. Ride was e stopped...few people that we had to tell they weren't securing riders well came out and said you can't get out anyways. So while we had trains parked I got in and showed them
  22. Rider size and weight is adressed in the rider safety guide as quoted here. Larger guests have been established in the general ride policy/procedures and also more detailed variants per ride. All passenger restraint systems, including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seatbelts, must be positioned and fastened properly to allow guests to ride. Due to rider restraint system requirements, guests larger size may not be accommodated on some of rides. This may apply, but not be limited to, guests who exceed 6'2" or those who exceed 225 pounds, have 40" waistline or 52" chest or females who exceed 200 pounds or wear a size 18 or larger. Our larger guests may experience diffculty on Blue Streak, Corkscrew, Disaster Transport, Mantis, Maverick, maXair, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, Mine Ride, Power Tower, Raptor, Skyhawk, Top Thrill Dragster, Wave Swinger, Shoot the Rapids and Wicked Twister. Maximum recommended weight limits are posted at Camp Snoopy rides, Monster, Scrambler, Super Himalaya, Troika, Wave Swinger, WindSeeker, Planet Snoopy rides, RipCord and most Soak City attractions. As stated, all restraints must be fastened, and if you fit this criteria you may not fit or struggle to fit.
