  1. I wouldn’t say so. They’re kind of like the rough draft of research reports. They can change at a moments notice depending on the data being returned from the experiment. This pandemic will have a greater impact on future years 2024 onwards, rather than 2022 because of the contracts that have been made and signed.
  2. The question is, with 5-year plans allowing wiggle room (flat ride becomes coaster that couldn’t be built at original park), could a coaster planned in the original 5 year plan still be built?
  3. How do you know something wasn’t already paid for? Currently we have over 40 markers, in a 5 acre plot of land.
  4. That would be correct, i made the same deduction. The fact surveyors have been observed conducting a survey of the elevation of the land is rather interesting, IMO.
  5. 2018: predicted Giga coaster from horizontal construction related to installation of expanded runoff system - got Orion 2018 CP: Predicted removal of Witches Wheel in 2019 - got BBQ. You might think I have zero credibility, but I have shown you two cases where I made an accurate prediction well ahead of time.
  6. I’m thinking this is something for 2022/2023 timeframe.
  7. Those were for a second project, the updating of utilities. There are cables at the entrance. Pink means temporary survey. White means excavation point. Orange means telecommunication/electrical lines. Yellow means high pressure steam, gas lines. All 4 of those have been seen in the vicinity of the area we are talking about.
  8. @silver2005, so I’m guessing KIC is requiring members to send in Resumes now. @IndyGuy4KI, @malemknows I’ve done work in construction, so I don’t need to explain it any further.
  9. I have experience with surveying and placing markers. The work being done here seems like something for vertical construction. That’s what I meant.
  10. Here’s the thing we have telecommunications, excavation, and hydraulic survey markers. Roads don’t need that. Furthermore, to have a road transport workers, it would have to have the bus cross the main route by guests to get into the park. It would be very impractical. They already have a shuttle, and the time saved by this hypothetical new route, wouldn’t be worth the cost. When you have excavation markers, you’re not just removing the road, you are removing part of the surrounding area as well. The size of this area is so large it points to one outcome.
  11. But why would they need to change tele-communication lines, conduct temporary survey and alter recently built runoff lines? If anything this would have been done before the dorms were finished.
  12. There’s a pathway from GWL to KI. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk it.
  13. There’s a pathway one has to follow to get in. The time spent walking from the end of Columbia Road to it would be more than the time spent by a shuttle bus driving down KI Dr and dropping them off at employee drop off.
  14. The employee entrance is closer to Waterpark.
  15. It isn’t like that at KI. CP and KI have different layouts.
  16. Actually, the main gate would block employees, using that road, from entering the park.
  17. The road would have to be redesigned if it was for employee transport.
  18. Question is, why are the markers being put on the park edge? They could easily remove Timberwolf and load that area with flat rides.
  19. It’s a SpongeBob joke. That being said, all together, there’s more markers here than at CP, so that’s a pretty decent indication that they’re putting a lot of markers down.
  20. As many have said on this forum, you can see the markers from the lift. Furthermore, there are a lot of markers (sprayed and staked).
  21. It turns out there was Ash Bore in the trees. It’s sad they were not replaced with trees and or theming. I feel any addition to AZ will help drive foot traffic to Bat, which is needed, as I feel it is very underrated.
  22. The tree by The Beast ended up being the far reverse Treble Clef for Orion. They needed to create a larger runoff network to prevent flooding in the lower areas of the ride. Going back to Columbia Road. I feel that a huge ride is needed to draw people to the area to ride Bat as well.
