  1. So apparently there are more markers. The road looks like it will be removed.
  2. Joking aside, I think the music of the park should be what the management thinks it should be. They know how people react to certain cues and tunes.
  3. The photo booth still remains. The building served as a roof for the photo booth and benches nearby.
  4. The marker has gone up since park opening.
  5. It’s Orange. It would have to do with communication.
  6. There has been a sighting of a marker inside the park by the old SOB queue.
  7. That is if they find a vaccine and administer it during offseason.
  8. Here’s why. In 2003 Canada was hit by the SARS virus (a Coronavirus). After the initial outbreak died down, CW bought Time Warp. That move reportedly helped draw guests back into the park after the pandemic.
  9. I’ve heard that from people outside of RMC and CF. It doesn’t surprise me given R&D and the amount of modifications made to the original ride.
  10. True, but in 2016 CP received Valravn at $22-$25 million, and they got Steel Vengeance in 2018 for $30 million. That was in very similar circumstances.
  11. Those markers were for Mystic. Maybe it’s something in 2022. Rides can be built over the course of many years, as seen with TTD and other coasters. It is also interesting there are reports of people surveying that area on Tuesday.
  12. Same sort of markers we saw back in 2016.
  13. Here’s an info piece for those interested in the markers: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/decoding-the-city-the-road-graffiti-placed-by-utility-workers-42822014/
  14. That wouldn’t require the excavation of a portion of the preferred lot.
  15. Usually they are coded and numbered. For instance, if I was spraying up a road highlighting the sewer lines, I may make markings that say “sewer 1’ off”. The fact that we are getting markers for underground utilities and excavation is interesting.
  16. They aren’t marking sewer lines/ runoff. This is a marking for a runoff drain along my jogging path.
  17. True, but Time Warp was not planned. It was added very late in the off season.
  18. Canada’s Wonderland added back to back coasters after their attendance dipped due to the Coronavirus of 2002-04.
  19. The “me first” mentality of our society would have prevented social distancing from being effective. Don’t blame the park for the delays on opening day. Blame it on those who did not follow the procedures set up by the park of arriving at the preselected time. @coaster sally, I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but there’s no need to take it out on park management. Very few things changed since opening days, which indicates the park had a solid plan for reopening.
  20. @coaster sally, the fact of the matter is opening the lot at 10:30 was a smart move. Had they opened up the lots any earlier, people would have congregated outside the main entrance, creating a situation ripe for spreading the virus. Attacking one character because you can’t ride a $30 million dollar ride at night, in the year of the pandemic, is extremely selfish and dumb. Posts like what you’ve just typed out is why enthusiasts get a bad rap.
  21. Or it could be two projects. They could be expanding the waterpark entrance plaza?
