I think the Disney route is the best route to go for all parks. People who walk around with empty cups and masks off are troublemakers imo, and by fixing the loophole, will force them into compliance

New Development: the area is being cleared out.

Well, the distance between the the height markers on the FAA website matches the distance between the elements in the prototype model.

It will be an impressively tight squeeze. Should be fun.

These projects tend to take awhile. However, the interesting thing is, they’re still digging and grading the site. It isn’t being dealt in the same manner KD dealt with Volcano Site or DP with Stinger.

There’s definitely something going on at CP and KI, imo. Considering the ability of the parks to sell platinum passes, the addition of two signature rides at KI and CP in the same year would do wonders. It’s interesting to note, since The Vortex removal, the crews are still grading the land and excavating-even when all the footers have been removed.

Or it could still be in the works, and they’re only refining it more.

Currently there’s a lot of chatter in the Passholder groups about the new coaster. It’ll be interesting to see how the park dynamics change with the new coaster.

Halloween Horror Nights. It’s an iconic Halloween event.

I haven’t seen this mentioned yet but KI did a wonderful job with retracking Racer and Beast this past offseason. On The Racer, the retracked the red side going from the split to the beginning of the final set of airtime hills. On The Beast, the retracked from the valley to the brake run.

I’ve seen KI enforce the mask policy. Today at The Racer, a guest was prevented from boarding because he had put on an ineffective mask. The area pulled him aside and basically told him to put on a mask or else. The area was amazingly professional and prompt, and should be praised for dealing with the situation with grace. Employees patrol the lines and if two people are close to each other, they ask if they’re members of the same party. If not, the staff member forces them to social distance. They are doing far more than what some members of this site believe.

It’s been great. I feel the park has been enforcing their COVID policies well. When guests try to circumvent the rules, the staff respond in a courteous and professional manner.
