^ Can you tell what is written on the signage?

A parent should know what their child is ready for. If a parent takes a young child through a haunted house, they should expect for that child to potentially have a scare actor (or many scare actors) scare their children. Scare actors are there to do their jobs. They should not have to be concerned over what choices parents make. With that being said, last year was the first year Princess Sparkles went to Haunt. One year when she was young, we got caught up when the scare actors came out and she freaked. Until I knew she was mature enough to go through them, we did not stay around. Edit: part of being a good parent sometimes means I put my personal desires on the back burner for the benefit of my child. Just because I want to do something doesn't mean I need to do it if it subjects my child to something too mature for them to handle.

^So you can break them?

Valleyfair waterpark expansion for 2015
LoraX replied to jcgoble3's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It was a huge water park temporarily this summer when the park itself flooded. -
From looking at previous posts it appears the person posting as The Beach Waterpark is a representative of the park.

Thank you very much. I didn't realize you could view it that easily.

I think now is the best. The park has grown much more dear to me as I have gotten older. The memories are priceless. I think now most of the love comes from having to spend so much time with my daughter. It surpasses even when either of my children were younger and when I was a child. Today is a wonderful culmination of a life time of love that just gets better with time. For the record, I remember back through the mid '70's and loved a lot of things from each era. My least favorite is the Paramount years. I wish I could vote from mobile.

I thought it was near the water park entrance near where Snoopy's Junction is located. I don't remember what replaced it. Of course that has been a few years ago and I might be wrong.

WCPO Story - KI may have violated Federal Law regarding disabilities
LoraX replied to disco2000's topic in Kings Island
Maybe it's just my phone, but the picture of him looks like it has been altered. I have a friend whose daughter has her legs amputated above the knees and her arms are not formed properly. This young lady is amazing. She blows my mind with the things she is capable of doing. Her mom and dad took her to Kings Island last year and Kings Island provided her with a list of rides her daughter could ride. The list was minimal. They did not get upset over it, however with having limitations that prevent her daughter to ride, they have just not gone back. They are more concerned about her daughter's safety than putting her potentially in harms way. They choose to go to other activities that will permit her daughter to do more. As a mom, I cannot understand why a parent would be upset over trying to keep my children safe. -
I would not want to be at Six Flags America after dark. It was a much rougher crowd during the day than any park I have been to. We never stayed close to dark when we used to go to KK many years ago.

I don't find Mean Streak to be a bad ride at all. I think it's a decent coaster. During Coastermania, Tony joked that they had the water challenge just to get people to ride it. It is far less rough than many coasters that I love like El Toro and The Boss. Timberwolf at Worlds of Fun was the most violent woodie I have ever rode. I doubt I will ride it again. It gave me a migraine. Son of Beast was far more violent than Mean Streak, too. Blue Streak is a lot of fun, great air time.

I was your size the last few seasons and understand the worry completely. I suggest if you have Spanks or girdle wear it. It will help thin out the middle a bit. This season has been the first season in many seasons I have not resorted to doing that. Racer and The Beast will be snug. The bar only needs to go down 2 clicks from what I have been told. WindSeeker, Delirium and Drop Tower were ones that I couldn't ride when I was heavier. Outside Delirium is a test seat. If I fit one, I fit all three. Banshee try row 4. It has a longer belt. I think row 5 also has longer belts, too. Test sea in front of the entrance, too. Diamondback might be an issue if your legs are very thick. Sit in the test seat outside the line entrance.

I have been singing "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" since hearing the news. I have never understood the hype with Cedar Point. -
I would presume a buyer, but with Terpy who can really say.

My dog would not do well with it. I know how she is traveling, being around people she doesn't know and all the smells would drive her crazy. She's a great dog, but she was a stray when we took her in and she freaks if we are out of the "norm"
-
Can you put the sound effects and music to it? That would truly be awesome.

Did you notice Princess Sparkles asked if he can count to 8 and he counted to 5?
-
Sam needs to make sure Princess Sparkles has a great time through Slaughter House.

It was actually caught on video by OhioColts. I am shocked he did not object to this. He abides by strict rules. We are corrupting him.

I am willing to let my out of control teen try it elsewhere in the park.

Some might argue that you deserved it. You took a kick in the face like a man. I am disappointed in her. I thought she had more willpower to say no. I never dreamed she would say yes.
