ah my most successful thread makes a return. I am glad to see my baby all grown up and continuing. and to think this is the second version because the first one got ruined by dumb dumbs. Anyway I am hoping to make it out Friday and for there to be minimal lines.

Now that it has been a few days and I have had time to think about it aside from Beast night rides Mystic Timbers is my favorite ride in the park. It is the most intense ride we have going and that is something I have longed for at KI after riding stuff like Maverick and Voyage.

I have used the meal plan 3 times so far. Larosas in Rivertown was great and I got through the long line Friday in about 15 minutes. Festhaus yesterday and 12:30 sucked something horrible with all of the food offered that wasn't Panda Express. I like the new system at Reds HoF Grille as it seems now they can fill the whole restaurant without limiting tables due to servers and no extra wait time at the end to pay and all of that when the waitress doesn't show for a while. Chicken tenders were horrible though. I took a bite of one and made them take it back and give me a burger. I was satisfied with the burger and wedges.

I was curious does anyone know if they will do the fireworks tonight? I was thinking not since its technically not an open day and is just for gold pass holders. I am bringing my son up and may consider staying a bit later if they are.

Loved it. I am a fan of intense wild rides. It is short and packs a punch. I am glad I got to be a part of the charity event last night.

I was looking at the fundraising page and noticed a jump in the total. Someone joined and raised over $500 over the last day which is awesome but I wonder if they will be allowed to participate as it says you have to register by April 6th and fundraising ends April 9th.

Beast will be fine as it is legendary for night rides. I do think though the vast majority of people who ride Mystic Timbers will turn away from some of the old woodies as they will seem a lot more rough after riding MT

I am excited to have Tom + Chee on there but the new smokehouse place is a letdown. I was hoping to get a BBQ sandwich of some sort not more tenders. Shrimp is disgusting so that option is out for me.

I never had any use for River Town Potato Works to be on the dining plan because they left off the only thing I want from there which is the chili cheese fries

Drop Tower at KI is the only thing I have not been able to ride at 5 11 and 260.

I am not sure if it has been mentioned yet but Reds Hall Of Fame Grille is now listed under the dining plan on the website. no Tom and Chee yet though. I am happy about Reds.

If they do it like Scream For A Kid Again it will go something like this. Presentation and top 5 riders acknowledged and called to the ride to pick their seats. very shortly after they will call people in order to fill the first train. ( i was in the top 5 so I am unsure of if they continued that for the other trains) get off and ride again as many times as you want in whatever seats you want during the two hours. They had food available then too for free.

I had the meal plan for the first time last year and loved it. Some days early in the season it obviously lacked because they needed help to keep the lines down but it wasn't that big of a deal. Reds HoF worked out nicely for us with the kids as I could put in a reservation and come back later. I do find it a bit ridiculous to get so offended that they weren't using all of the tables with only two servers. There was obviously staffing issues for the last day and when you say stuff like that without looking at the whole picture you come of as an entitled brat.

We will see what happens when the season is actually here but if Red HoF Grille is actually not available for the meal plan I will be quite the unhappy customer.

I did this for Banshee and managed to raise $1200 so I am throwing my hat into the ring again.

17 times for me. We did a lot of short trips just to let Jamey ride a few things and eat lunch or dinner with our dining plan. First year of having the dining plan and I think it was worth it. We went ahead and added it for 2017.

So I take it no one else on here is taking part in this?

Its been pretty consistently open since the first week of August.

How different each persons experience can be is always amazing. The wife and I had pizza from the same spot yesterday and it was surprisingly good.

We are not talking Cedar Point we are talking Kings Island and what I have known for a long long time to be a lower rate for jr/sr. Just like your suggestion if you don't like my gripe don't read it. Have a wonderful day.

Pretty swell idea to make you pay full price on a pass for a kid that can only ride a fourth of whats there, excellent work Kings Island. It would be nice if the Pre-K pas Kings Dominion is doing goes chain wide. I do not believe it will though.
