I'm here, daughter did her first ride on Congo Falls and loved it. Food service is pretty pathetic, but that's expected first day of the year, it'll get better.

If a coaster was required to be removed my vote would reluctantly be for BLSC, mostly because I don't have much history with it but it's still a fun ride that I wouldn't want to see go. The Bat on the other hand, I do have a lot of memories on and it is still one of the more fun rides in the park.

I signed up for two tickets, one for me, one for my daughter. The confirmation sheets that printed out both had my name and my pass # on each one with different confirmation numbers even though I entered in her pass # information for the second one with her name in the title. Hopefully that doesn't cause any issues when I get to the show.

I prefer to have one less thing to think about while driving over "fun".

So I got a few questions about this and sorry if i missed the answers in the previous posts but couldn't find an answer... (and sorry about the bump, figured it was better this way than creating a whole new topic) 1. If I ended up having to upgrade my daughter's pass to the adult pass due to her reaching 48 inches, does this guarantee her to be at the 48 inch level for the rest of the season? I know when she was between 43 & 44 inches there would be times she would measure at 44 then others at 43, usually depending on who was doing the measuring. 2. If I end up having to upgrade will I be upgrading at the discounted price from when I bought the pass or will I be upgrading at the current inflated price?

Depends on your situation, if you generally go to the park with a large group or can't/won't ride rollercoasters then it is a good deal since they can hold the drink while you ride. It works for me because most of my visits last year were with my daughter who has not reached the 52" Banshee mark and therefore there is no restrictions on drinks for me.

I prefer the backwards Racer, but I'll take a ride on frontwards Racer any day now

Depends, my daughter may or may not make the coveted 48 inch mark this year. If she does, I'm thinking it'll probably be Racer or Adventure Express. If she does not, it'll be Woodstock Express.

I would go with the Flight of Fear then Firehawk combo over Invertigo to start the day, both rides are superior, but you will still want to check it out. Maybe after riding Banshee, it'll give you some time to let that adrenaline wear off lol, or just go to The Bat afterwards to keep the adrenaline. ;-)

That ride looks insane, any idea what the height requirement will be on that?

I'm kinda surprised/disappointed they are removing the 3-way from the meal plan, it was usually option #1 from my daughter to eat there, but it's OK there is plenty of other options for food now. And side note, nobody ever mentioned they were re-locating the Planet Snoopy Grill to Oktoberfest

It doesn't open until the end of May, so maybe it's on the end of their construction schedule for the season? But nevertheless, it is on the Live Entertainment page (sorry, I mean Live E) on Kings Island's website, so I got a feeling it's here to stay. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.

Kinda glad to see them do this, it was past the point of being a shell of it's self, being turned into a smoking area was a parody of it's self. Hopefully something good goes there eventually and it's not a plan to have the largest LaRosa's in Ohio.

It really depends on the day that you go. Some days FastLane will be worth it...other times, not so much. But I do often wonder why Congo Falls has as many switchbacks as it does. The reason for all the switchbacks is because there was a time that that ride was a popular ride in the park. I remember when I was younger waiting in pretty decent sized lines to ride it.

Whew! Glad they got Congo Falls on there, wouldn't want to wait in that atrocious line! /sarcasm
