Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare New in 2026
My question with Rick is: does he consult for Sally on a project such as this? I'd love to think that he is involved with the project. It would really suck of they picked his brain for ideas, shelved the redo until "later" and then just gave the ideas to Sally. But I don't know how all of this stuff works.

Yes, but my way of thinking was Azrael because easter eggs are always fun. Both start with"A" and both Maestro and Gargamel can be intimidating to little kids, so the cat can soften this up for them. I never rode the OG PT, so my only relation to the cat is from PTE when the audio was in the preshow music, and Houdilini pulled out the cat skeleton from the hat( at least I think it was a cat)

I wonder if Maestro's cat, Arpeggio, is an easter egg to Gargamel's cat, Azreal?

Blue Ice Cream Names
I vaguely remember Huckleberry, but most of my younger years it was a Smurf Cone. As an adult, it's simply Blue Ice Cream.

Let's stir the pot a little: Looks like it cryptically is saying: watch out for #7. What is #7? If "#5 is alive!" could SOB be #5. The next roller coaster after SOB was the Junkyard Coaster. So naturally that would be #6. What's next? Firehawk as #7. New style Vekoma flying coaster called SOB built out of the SOB station outward, coming out over extreme sky flyer and taking up the removed Timberwolf, Congo Falls and Invertigo plots. New SOB confirmed! Seven is alive!!!! :):):):) Or.....there is a secret coup that will happen and seven references a new owner is coming after Six. Lololol

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
Was shocked to read, although it's not new news, the enterprise valuation of the company on 7-1-2024 was approximately 9.1 billion dollars. At the close of market today, the valuation of the company is approximately 5.2 billion dollars. But of course it's the challenging weather in key markets...which the merger was touted as a way to temper weather issues across the portfolio. If were an investment group for, say, one of the teachers retirement funds that owns this stock, I would not be happy, nor would retirees who's retirement checks could be at risk in some form. Will it recover? Probably over time.

Don't forget about the investment in two KI original signature rides: The Racer and The Beast.

Be careful! Your bosses at KI may not take kindly of you giving clues on how to open the curtain to shed light on what information could be coming

Kings Island General Discussion 2025
But you can literally stow your carryons in the floor of The Bat and Junkyard Coaster. Or at least when I was there last year you could. Why would they the put lockers there?

Bye bye, Boo Blasters
Really great teaser they released! In reflection, I see the obvious reference to the queue music, the cartoon Maestro, and the cat. The video also focuses in on a BB cutout that says something to the effect of "not dead yet." The radio static reminds me of Mystic Timbers. Any significance with the wind chimes in the transition scene?

I don't either, but with this leadership, nothing is off the table. If they were looking to shed many of the underperforming parks, a major park like Kings Island could be the crown with minor parks like WOF, St. Louis, etc. That would fetch a pretty penny. However, Six Flags would loose a ton of recurring revenue for years down the road. Since the merger, though, it appears they only are focused on the here and now and will not look at long term impacts . Of course, I say this as a casual observer. I don't believe they would jettison one of their stalwart parks.

I've heard urban legends that the "powder keg" wooden barrel at The Beast exit, near the lower queue, is Garbanzo's TNT.

- What will replace Boo Blasters On Boo Hill?
Oh me, too. But in an age of austerity for six flags, anything would be on the table. As far as the justice league buildings, of course I know that's not likely to ever happen, but stranger things have. As far as PT being in the middle of DC, if they are slashing costs, it's happened in the history of both companies as things evolve...Asian, Italian, American in the German themed building, Cajun food in The French Building, a giant tan garage housing a jungle themed ride in Rivertown, and The Junkyard Coaster in the no man's land between Rivertown and the Arena Formerly Known As Coney Mall. And that's just one park!- What will replace Boo Blasters On Boo Hill?
I think six flags would want to take control and utilize their ( now) exclusive IP. No company to pay for it, etc. I don't know if PTE came with a new copyright/trademark for the IP or not. If it's never been assigned exclusively to them, who's to say that another operator cannot use it? Or that Mr. Balstrap wouldn't take control of his work and license it out. Think of the scale: all the boo blasters become phantom theater. Knotts replacement of Beary Tales. They let justice league dark rides licensing expire and take PT IP there. I mean, in a like manner, if my banana trees are producing great and plentiful fruit, why would I buy bananas at the Kroger store?- Invertigo: The Next To Go?
