DropZone99 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 So does anyone like that dive machine? =] Quote
Cody Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Looks really boring :| hmm I wanna make one Quote
FOFirehawkFAN Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 I researched the ride that this thread is about, and its actually called "half-pipe". Anybody that's rode a half pipe knows that this ride would be a real rush. Is there more than one? The only one I know of is at Elrich Gardens? Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 The only one in the USA is at Elitch Gardens, yes. There are others: http://www.rcdb.com/cm8.htm Quote
FOFirehawkFAN Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 Oh thanks... I think it looks fun Quote
FOFirehawkFAN Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 No problem, by chance have you made a Kings Island park on RCT3? Quote
hausty1983 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Speaking of RCT 3 what happened to the KI park someone on here was making did they ever get a chance to finish it yet? I never saw the finished park posted on here yet. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I don't think anyone could build KI in RCT3 because of the lag. YOu can have the best machine and it would still lag its just the way that the game is programed. That park was being built in sections and the last I saw International Street was done and they were wroking on Action Zone. I would like to see the inverted coaster back by X Base as well. Something really futurristic and lots of inversions. I would also have an Intmain hyper coaster and with theose 2 addition KI would be back in action as my fav. park. Quote
FOFirehawkFAN Posted September 22, 2007 Author Posted September 22, 2007 Nah thats not true, ive seen people build like the magic kingdom with no lag. Quote
DropZone99 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I forget who made that park, he's a member on this website though. And he finished Action Zone but then quit. Iv'e made a KI on RCT2, but it was crappy. Quote

flightoffear1996 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 No someting longer and faster than Volcano. I have a 3.0 Dual Core, 3GB of RAM, and a decent video card in my computer and the game will still lag. Quote
westcoaster Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 How About: the Farenheith Ride from Hershey Park Kings Island needs something like that: Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I woudl love to have something with the feel like Maverick. I love that coaster. Quote
Beast1979 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 If you think KI could use a ride like that, that's fine. Your Entiteled to Your own opinion. My Opinion: NOOOOOOOOO! Beast1979 Quote
Dvo Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I'd rather see a dive coaster or an Intamin hyper coaster than something like Farenheit. Quote
Beast1979 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 ^ Ditto. Farenheit doesn't look very appealing to me. Beast1979 Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 In my years of going to parks, I have learned that oftentimes that which I think will be thrilling...isn't. And that which I think won't be, is. I'll ride first, then decide. I had very little expectations for Maverick. And boy, oh boy, was I wrong! Quote
THE_BEASTmaster Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I'd rather see some more flat rides mostly in Rivertown, where the dolphin show use to be and near the lake across from Tomb Raider, and maybe one more in Coney Mall. I don't think Coney mall needs another roller coaster at X-Base. There's already 2 coasters there. I'd rather see a custom built B&M inverted coaster in Rivertown flying over White Water Canyon and near the train, if that's possible. Quote
THE_BEASTmaster Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I was thinking maybe Kings Island can do something like this if they did get a B&M coaster in Rivertown. Like the Demon at SFGAm, flying over railroad track. That'll really be cool. Well it doesn't have to be an inversion though. Quote
Browntggrr Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 ^ Ditto. Farenheit doesn't look very appealing to me. Beast1979 How can you form an opinion about a ride that: 1) the footers are not even poured yet. -and- 2) you have not been on yet. So now I ask the question; if you had the choice of having a ride like F97 or nothing at all, you would choose nothing? Quote
Beast1979 Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 No. Being who I am, I ride coasters whenever I get the chance. I just think some are better than others. By the Way: Hershey Park puts NoLimits Recreations on their website far before the footers are poured. Beast1979 Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 By the way, an aside. a. It's Hersheypark, not Hershey Park. b. It's NOT owned by the Hershey Chocolate people! It's owned by Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company, which is not connected with The Hershey Company. Chocolate World IS owned by The Hershey Company and is NOT owned by HERCO. Hershey Creamery, which makes and sells dairy products, is also not owned by Hershey Foods. Why is any of this important? Some time, back The Hershey Company considered selling its chocolate operations. (Yes, it did consider it). This would not have affected the park. See: ...How is Hersheypark doing? All recreation and tourism facilities in Hershey are owned by HERCO (Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company), a separate and distinct corporation wholly owned by the Milton Hershey School Trust. HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE WORLD Attraction, however, is owned by The Hershey Company.... http://www.thehersheycompany.com/ir/faq.asp (Last question on the page) So now you know some important facts that most people do not know! So you are saying that you exactly know how the ride is based upon a computer generated model? That is a joke! Quote
Beast1979 Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 No, that is not what i'm saying. I'm saying i am basing my opinion on the ride via a computer generated model. The model gives me an Idea of what the ride is like, not exactly what the ride is. Stop Bugging me. Quote
Browntggrr Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 ^ LOL! So your idea is based upon a computer generated model. And you have formed your opinion upon a computer generated model. And you opinion is that there are better coasters out there compared to the computer generated model? Ok... Quote
