The Interpreter
November comes. A season comes first. Figures will be watched. Studied closely. By many. Ins. Outs. Ins soon to be outs. Outs who may or may not become ins. Those figures may well become election issues. And, if they do, analagous 2016 figures, if any... Bruce Lunsford. A history. Issue? Ed Hart. A history. Issue? Ed Glasscock. A history. Issue? And so many more. And who knows what others may Koch up?

shark6495
Well that looks... Umm.... Terrifying. Yup the word I'm thinking of is terrifying.
homestar92
Doesn't look like my cup of tea. I'll just enjoy the Runs. Now THAT'S terror to the third power!
The Interpreter
There are certain parks with certain histories and/or certain clienteles where installing certain types of rides may not be wise. It takes only one more very unfortunate incident. Terp, hopefully very, very, very off-topic.
homestar92
They've already put in literally the WORST possible type of ride they could build... I guess Hart figures he might as well go all-out with questionable decisions. I'd put an incredibly relevant clip from Tropic Thunder in here, but its choice of words can be quite offensive to some people so I won't. Most who have seen the movie probably know the scene to which I'm referring.
TombRaiderFTW
Wait... Y'all have lost me. It's a Funtime StarFlyer, much like what exists an hour down the road at Holiday World and at multiple Six Flags. Apart from my personal preference for WindSeekers over them, I'm not seeing an issue... Anyone care to fill me in?
The Interpreter
It's what??? Look it up. ARM yourself.
TombRaiderFTW
Wow, I was way off on that one. Not only is KK's an ARM Vertigo, but Holiday World's is from Zamperla. This is what I get for making assumptions that early in the morning. If you would, educate me while I'm down: is there a particular reason the ARM variation isn't a wise choice for Kentucky Kingdom?
RailRider
Just another tower ride at a park that has a horrible history with tower rides and zero concern for acting in bad taste.
The Interpreter
I'm not going to be making any cracks here. Wouldn't be proper.
homestar92
And I still can't get over the location... Will it even be accessible when the water park is closed?

sccard01
FYI Sky Catcher is a fixed attraction. It is not a portable attraction. There is only one other fixed Vertigo attraction from ARM rides. It was installed last year. Here it is below
The Interpreter
I certainly hope it's FIXED. Try selling Cedar Fair one. Good luck with that. Some will get the point.
Steph88
Ooh, Cliff's! I've been thinking of taking a day trip out there. It's cool how they put it right in the middle of the roller coaster like that.
The Interpreter
Cliff's is a FUN park in a gorgeous state. I recommend it highly.
WMAJrKY
...notice there are no updates on T3 and Cyclos? Gee... I wonder why? ;-) I thought the lack of T3 talk or testing videos would be telling. Ridiculous it isn't ready for opening day.

WMAJrKY
Cash flow.... No evidence even of a new train being on site. They would be showing it off if it were there. What a sad show they are putting on.

silver2005
Lightning Run is an 'iron' coaster? I sure hope not... Also, why do the promo in the news studio? Why not do it at the park? Most of the things Kings Island did with news stations when Banshee was stirring things were done at the park. This one came off as tacky, at least to me. Using a cardboard poster to display an internet screen cap? Really?

RollerNut
600,000 some odd visitors... Dvided by 94 days Thats less than 8,000 day.
The Interpreter
And there were 100,000+ season pass holders. And it wasn't 600,000 visitors. It was "nearly." Cash flow.
Shaggy
Comparing KK press to KI press is futile... apples and oranges. Just like comparing parks... it's the difference of a local park vs regional park. Totally different scale, totally different standards level, totally different talent base, totally different quality. Shaggy
