jdawg1998
Oohh...spooky: EDIT: I didn't know the image would update. So, before it was spooky because you could see the shadow of WS. Although, it is still kind of spooky!
KIanatic1975
Yeah, it was a bit creepy seeing it rise out of the fog.
Oldschool75
Working early on a Sunday morning.
CoastersRZ
Well, it is kind of crunch time. Kings Island opens in 20 days!
IndyGuy4KI
Plus this is an awesome day to get some work done!
Hendrick
I've been watching the webcam for quite some time, and today is the first Sunday I have seen this much work going on. Either they are a little bit behind, or just taking advantage of this weather!
74Gibson
For comparison... if that's worth anything, CP has about 3 sections up and opens 5/14.
Ohiocoasterman
Yes but they just finished there red top piece and are working on the other top piece that has all the pulleys and everything.
CedarPointer
Am I the only one who has noticed that the red thing they're working on now doesn't look like it's level? Edit: Nevermind, it's the webcam that seems to be tilted.
CoastersRZ
Because it is not firmly attached to the tower yet. You can see the temporary wood blocking supporting it in the webcam shots.
TombRaiderFTW
"This lull in visible progress brought to you by Art's Rental's ZoomBoom! ZoomBoom: when you need a boom, we'll be there with a zoom!" (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
TheSnapper
The ride is looking great! I am very excited to see how fast it will spin and see how capacity works out for it
Oldschool75
Looks like the arms are going up.
CoastersRZ
Yep. Two arms are now up as they continue to work on it this late on a Sunday,!
KILateNighter
I think they called it quits for the night at 7pm
KIfan1980
Random note - I realized this evening that I can see the top part of WindSeeker from my house.
The Interpreter
Random note - I realized this evening that I can see the top part of WindSeeker from my house. Now that's awesome!
CoastersRZ
I wish I lived that close to Kings Island! But then again, I would also live very far from Coney...

Jasper
They have really made progress in the past 2-3 weeks, I am anxious to see what the status of the ride will be with the nice weather we are getting this week. I also can't wait to see the seats go into place on the ride itself.
The Interpreter
All this week is supposed to be nice, except tomorrow, when it is supposed to rain like the dickens all day and tomorrow night. Well, it's supposed to do it again Friday and Saturday, though.
CoastersRZ
Yeah, just like this past Saturday was supposed to be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, and it ended up pouring and thundering most of the day. And just my luck, it is nice during the week, but when I have to go down to Coney for interviews on Friday it will be cold and rainy again! They certainly are getting down to crunch time. The park opens in less than three weeks, and they still haven`t even started testing the ride...
Jasper
I guess we will just have to cross our fingers that something does not go drastically wrong before or during testing.
Dieseltech20
I guess we will just have to cross our fingers that something does not go drastically wrong before or during testing. Agreed. These rides being new and all makes me a bit nervous.

Dieseltech20
I really hope we don't have a repeat of that
The Interpreter
Well, it isn't an INTAMIN. There is that. Nor is the ride a timberliner nor even a flying turns.
teenageninja
But it is a Mondial... I think testing will go well. They do have one positive, that being there are 4 opening at once. Unfortunately it seems as though KI's is going to open first, therefore being the test dummy. I trust KI to get it done.
Ohiocoasterman
They may have a window until about 11am then it will rain and storm. They might just work though the rain though as they need to get it done. Or maybe that is why they worked today very late for this very reason.
