I saw the 7:00 showing yesterday and thought the show was great. The theater was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. The jokes were funny and honestly it was just nice to see a show that isn't a musical revue. The tricks were also very good. I've seen the videos from Knott's Haunt and I really hope Kings Island is planning on having the slightly more "adult" version of the show this October.

I actually loved the show. Nothing went wrong (as far as I know), and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it! Most of the tricks were actually cool for all ages too. I will for sure be back!

This is shocking....

Finally saw the show tonight. Not bad, everything seemed to go as planned. There's some undefinable thing lacking that explains why he's playing KI instead of Vegas, but don't ask me what it is.

As far as raunch, I guess that was a reference to the dancers. I don't think it qualifies as raunch when compared to the girl ahead of me on The Racer: Bikini under Daisy Dukes, but the shorts were open and folded back and the bikini was so small we could see razor burn. That is raunchy. Dancing girls, not so much.

In all, it was a fairly simple show, but if you're doing it 5 times a day there won't be a lot of complicated stuff. He did a fine job and managed the hecklers effectively and my kids absolutely loved it. I don't know that we'll watch it again soon, but will probably take at least one break in there before the season is over.

hello! I went and seen this on friday june 8th , and I really enjoyed it. No technical difficulties . It was very funny . I understand the dancers as he needs time to prepare for the next bit . People might say its too much but any show like this will have this aspect in the show.Overall very entertaining . The only thing is ,that it is really short like maybe a half hour long and thats the only thing . It left me wanting more which is not exactly a bad thing . And... I got to pet a bunny ! hahahahahah........ ahhmmm. well . I also felt very comfortable because it reminded me of nightmare alley at haunt . I wanted to start scaring people !.... well soon enough I guess . thanks for reading see ya......

Well, I saw the show today. While I could have done without the inappropriate jokes, naughty policewomen, and EXTREMELY loud music, I thought the show was actually really good. With a few changes it could be a real winner.

My son and I saw the show yesterday, and I haven't seen my 8-year-old laugh so much in a long, long time. I liked the dancers (something for Dad, something for lad I guess). I agree with the previous post that the dancers were reasonably 'family', and you'll see much more out in the park (often on inappropriately young girls). All in all, the show is very reminiscent of the the Sideshow production at CP and was very enjoyable. We'll no doubt see it again. The only gotcha for today's electronics-laden society (and folks with expensive cameras) - were a couple of water gags. Watch for them, or sit in the upper half of the theater!

Saw the show 1:00 Saturday. We were very entertained. My wife and I thought the dancers were dressed appropriately and did a fine job filling time between tricks. If you think they were too scantily clad DEFINITELY stay out of Soak City!

Great show, highly recommend. Snowwoman got to pet the bunny and I got to be the butt of the joke. I'll get you Alonzo!!!

We saw the show this weekend. What a great addition! Loved it. I just wish they packed the house. I think as word spreads, this show may become hard to get into.

Saw the show on Sunday and thought it was a blast. I'm still trying to figure out some of the disappearing acts, so I guess the magic worked on me.

I actually came home and watched the King of the Hill where Hank tries to figure out a magic show trick. If you've seen the episode, that's about how I'm feeling right now.

1 - I talked to a member of the entertainment department, the bra gag is still in the show... So I'm not sure where you came up with that info..

2 - The show has averaged a lot more than the ice shows did.

I was glad to see the park announce a magic show this year. (As I have mentioned in the past, I avoid the music shows at the park religiously.) I must admit that I probably wouldn't have rushed to see this show if it hadn't have been for SoakCity's review...I just had to see if it was nearly as lame as he was claiming. After watching it not once but twice on Saturday I must say that (IMHO) his review is totally unfair. I was entertained both times. Sure an adult can figure out SOME of the tricks...so what? The tricks are only part of the show...I found Ed a very personable and funny guy. (And I am way too old to have ever watched Saved by The Bell...so I am not biased.) He is quick-witted, at both of the shows I saw he adlibbed some very funny lines based on what his volunteer assistant said or did...or didn't do.

With the exception that the dancers seemed a bit out of place..not really raunchy, just out of place, I thought the show was great...and judging by the laughter I was not alone.

I would also like to say that after each show you can meet Ed & have a picture taken. (No charge.) While waiting my turn I was impressed just how nice he was...he took time with each person and made them feel special. It struck me that here was someone who truly enjoys their "work". (Or he is a VERY good actor! ) I was last in line...and when it was finally my turn, I told him that I thought he did a great job and that I just wanted to check out the show for myself after the review on Kings Island Central he said to me something to the effect of "Oh, what did it say?" (So much for how important some of us think this site is!)
