k dumping soil in the first pic pretty much confirms a looping giga.

How does that confirm a giga?

I beleve you have seen a response involving sarcasm.

Anybody else thinking the giant stretch of flattened dirt is for construction vehicles to go up and down the site easier, versus having to drive over around Flight of Fear and under Express to get to the old Thunder Alley area?

Nice photos! Thanks for sharing. I wonder though, because if this really was a giga coaster, you would think they would be further along with construction by now, but they really haven't done much so far.

Diamondback finished construction in January 2009. It's not like they put the last piece of track in the night before Opening Day. I'm sure they are fine on their construction schedule.

Yes, really. All they have are a few footers. If this was a giga, they should have a lot more work done by now.

I still think it's a giga, but I'm beginning to doubt it.

Leviathan didn't start the station and track until september. i think they have done a lot.

And the technical term for the black erosion control devices is "silt fence." They are often used to try and keep mud from crossing where the silt fence is, especially where they are concerned about the dirt covering up neighboring roads/property.
