There are so many aspects of this ride that I cannot wait to experience.

They look so comfortable.

Kind of reminds me of a child's car seat.

Unfortunately sippy cups and little baggies of Cheerios probably won't be allowed on the ride.

Some people who scream on some of the rides though could use a pacifier.

I know B&M has a good safety history, but I wouldn't feel very safe using the trains from The Great Pumpkin Coaster on Banshee

Interesting concept....an upside down, inverted coaster.....no loose articles allowed....LOL!

Daily testing on Diamondback began on February 27th of 2009, if I'm not mistaken. (It wasn't until March, that all 3 trains were testing daily)

There's a possibility that Banshee could also be testing before March.

I know, right? When it's not affected by weather, sometimes it looks like an eerie painting either by Van Gogh as you mentioned, or by my favorite artist, MC Escher. I wonder if someone has captured a few frames of the weather building up on the webcam... would make an interesting time lapse.

Yes, but if memory servers me correct, I thought all 3 trains were in the DB shed before they ever started testing.

These black seats will not show the dirt like DB seats do. Those red seats look very dirty.

On the subject of DB's seats, what is the black stuff on some of the headrests? It looks almost like spray paint.

I've been wondering the same thing. Except I'm pretty sure it's not spray paint.

I assumed that but I really didn't want to know. Dirt, bugs, and wear I'm ok with. Bodily fluids is when I grab the Purell.

Instead of the the family dryer...KI could make some money off a family 'purger'. It could spray some sort of disinfectent on ones family just outside the gates of the coaster. Or for double bucks...every ride. Sell a Fast Pass 'Prime', and its included.

Regarding the Diamondback seats:

I don't think it's any sort of dirt because the marks are never washed off, even when the trains are hosed down after a protein spill or just daily routine maintenance. It is also just too coincidental to find the marks in the same place on every seat to believe it's dirt.

I always thought it looked like mold. I assumed it wasnt.

I'm not completely sure but I don't know if there's any way to paint that material. They may just have to replace the seats, which in that case won't be for a long time.

Wear a hair net folks...and some rubber gloves. Personally, I find it best for my 'vehicle' to suck up the germs and retaliate. No flu shots. No Purcell. Let me adapt.

Just set the Banshee-van-gogh-ice picture as my wallpaper! My moms car looked the same this morning. Took two hours to get it out of the drive!
