We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Right now, this time of year is one of the very few times its great to live in Arizona.

Maybe they'll use the warmer weather this week to start working on the queue area. Not necessarily pouring concrete but just site preparation.

We didnt even get snow..lots of rain..and thunder..all frozen

frozen thunder? You don't say? ;)

Solid burn aside, it was incredibly strange to see thunder and 2 strikes of lightning yesterday with a few inches of snow on the ground, I can't say that I had witnessed that before.

Looks like it's 53 degrees in Mason right now, and the snow is almost gone. Summer is just around the corner guys, and it's going to be a whopper! B)

I was gonna post this but I didn't have the time!

And no, I do not think this is Clifford, Clifford had a vertical section, a joint, and another more horizontal boom. This one only has the vertical. But I've thought the same thing for days!

I mean, something was happening over there, but I couldn't tell what since there's snow and it's so far away. You didn't miss much.

In other news.. In case anyone was wondering where Clifford went!

This may or may not, or probably isn't the actual one but.... tee hee, gentlemen, tee hee.

You don't know what a whopper of a summer is until you've been in Phoenix between June and August......virtual roasting.

Since the crane is at UC, I vote we name it Oscar or Lucy.

silver2005, crossthreading.

I don't know how to link to Kings Island's tweets from the iPad, but they just tweeted the new food options for Action Zone. Chicken tenders, wraps, and wings.

New this year in Action Zone is the Chicken Shack. Fresh hand-breaded chicken tenders, wings, wraps and salads are on the menu.

I am probably not going that far west for a long time now. The furthest west I've ever been is Chicago, and I was about 10 when that happened. I'm currently 14.

So does this confirm that that area will still be called Action Zone? Or have we known that all along anyway?

No. No offical announcements have been made of the retheming of AZ and they probably won't until media day or close to it.

I personally think that Action Zone won't get rethemed 'til after the 2014 season.

Only time will tell.

Or the park map, which is typically shown on the website prior to the day before the public opening (ie media day this season) Of course, if they only release a digital form map, it wouldn't be that hard to have 1 version saying Action Zone for the website, then make the switch on the website during media day w/ the actualy 2014 maps on hand when the gates open up that morning.

expect for the fact that next week we will be back in the 20s. This weather is confused

I think most of us can agree that, regardless of when, AZ will be rethemed.

Look at all the action in the circle.

That's what I call Ohio Weather

Might just be me, but it looks like there is a train sitting between the station and the storage area.

It looks like that might just be right.
