We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

Theyre probably just testing the drive wheels between the station and the transfer track area.

Has it been confirmed if the complete first train has been installed?

I feel sorry for the guys trying to get "The Bat" track painted to orange. Not exactly an easy job to begin with. Now having to deal with the weather as well. I am sure you can only paint within a certain temperature range.

Has it been confirmed if the complete first train has been installed?

the full train appeared to be moving back and forth between the storage area and the transfer track.

going to go ahead and post these:

Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how beautiful this coaster looks with the sun shining bright on it?

Just wait until spring when we see some more green around it. ;)

Does anyone have any pics from when The Beast was under construction?

In ChainDog's first picture, also note the half-constructed Eiffel Tower. Never-mind. I shouldn't be posting this late. I'm going to bed now.

The Beast was constructed from ~1978-1979 so the Eiffel Tower would have already been a few years old. I think the low resolution of the picture makes it hard to see the full Eiffel Tower.

You don't know what a whopper of a summer is until you've been in Phoenix between June and August......virtual roasting.

I once spent a week in Tucson at the end of December and flew back into Dayton in the middle of a snowstorm. Does that count?

There it is again! A Banshee train is on the transfer track! (look carefully between the vertical loop.)

Could someone get a skyline pick from the road of how Banshee looks compared to the rest of KI? That would be pretty cool.

^^ Go karts might be a no go today. The whole state of Ohio is under a slight to moderate risk for severe weather, especially going into the afternoon.

If you search "Banshee Kings Island Skyline" on Google it brings up several pictures
