Gplez90 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Station work continues... Image can be found on Kings Island's Twitter Page EDIT: You can see they're using the same panels on outside of the station on the inside. This machine is really coming along great! 14
calakapepe Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Anyone notice how the lift now has some lights on the catwalk?? 2
ThatGuy11 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I've been gone for too long. Way to long. 6
sikkinixx99 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 And in the station that is so sweet!! 1
coasterfanatic83 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 They have been paying very special attention to the top of that turn after the 2nd vertical since they've finished steel erection. Is that they one they had issues with during installation? If I remember correctly they had to take down and re-install the supports a few supports for some reason... 1
MDMC01 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Nice picture of the station; the turn out of the station reminds me a bit like the start of Wild Eagle. Only 52 more days... 4

I believe the part of the ride you are referring to is the immelman portion of the batwing. 1
KI432 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 With the lift lights on, it makes me want April here right now! I know they are just lights but they look great and I can't wait to see them soon in person. 3
calakapepe Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 And in the station that is so sweet!! That's not the station. I believe that is the train storage shed. 1

I believe the part of the ride you are referring to is the immelman portion of the batwing. Im referring to the turn between the 2nd vertical loop and the inline twist. There has been a cherry picker checking out that turn almost every other day since steel erection was complete. 1
Coasterama Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 ^ I apologize for the misinterpretation. 2
Gplez90 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Anyone live around the area that can get a decent shot of the lift hill lights on of these nights? it would be greatly appreciated! 2
GamesAndRides Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Google Earth updated there maps the other day. It now has Banshee on it! 26
TheBeast1116 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 That's good that Google Earth updated it! 1
CoastersRZ Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 While Google Earth updated the maps, it has not been updated on Google Maps on the web yet. It still has Son of Beast shown in the satellite version. 2
diamonbackandbeastlover Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Get your last screenshots before the update!
GamesAndRides Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I dont know if its just me, But why do they have all the blue supports purple?
steveinphoenix Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 To bad the street view in Google maps isn't updated as well. You still see Son of Beast in the street view shots.
The Interpreter Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 A beautiful day. I wonder what target is circled for today. 11

There has been a cherry picker checking out that turn almost every other day since steel erection was complete. They could be touching up paint on the track there or checking bolts making sure they are tight. I'm sure everything is okay
TheBEASTunchained Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 The lights on the Banshee lift hill have been left on all night......... Probably to test them and see if they are all working properly. This webcam can be found on Kings Island's website, Here: Kings Island's Banshee Construction Cam 4
mikejenkins1 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 They are graveling quite a few places under the track now. It looks like they have a dump pile up by the entrance. 1
Gplez90 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I apologize for going off subject here, but i could not find the appropriate topic. (Feel free to point me in the right direction). Canada's Wonderland recently posted a picture of what their new Backlot Stunt Coaster trains will look like. Kings Island is also revamping the trains on the same ride. Here's what Canada's Wonderlands BSC trains will look like. This image can be found on Canada's Wonderlands Facebook page. EDIT: The trains will be red, white, and blue. P.S. After reading the comments on the picture, some of the folks in Canada don't sound too happy about the colors of the trains. 6
