Adventuro
More supports going up under the lift hill. It's getting much harder to see with all the supports that are there now
calakapepe
Davidw, if you would like to use this edited photo I did for the progression pictures you upload from now on, feel free. This had to be done sooner or later.. it was bothering me.. http://i43.tinypic.com/15gbay1.png
rcwizard13
Ummm... Isn't that the same picture he's been using? And if its not, I'm sure he could have changed the picture himself.
LongTimeLurker
I think its the same picture but the track color is different. Took me a few takes to realize it.
davidw
yeah, i'm just going to continue using the official image...
calakapepe
Yeah, it's the same, it's just a change of color to what it actually is in real life; I just wanted to make it and thought I'd put it up when I remembered he'd been making the construction progress photos. Appears that it's been deemed pointless and a nonsensical offer, I think... Which is surprising since a handful of other people were pointing out the different track color being a bother when track began to show up. No matter, no big deal, do what-cha want, which you could and will do regardless; I still fulfilled my desires of color accuracy.
mikejenkins1
I'm hoping we still get the updated B&W with color for what track has been installed.
Adventuro
I'm still not sure why it matters. The point of his pic is to show us how completed Banshee is, not what color it is.
mikejenkins1
Yeah, that is what I meant. It is good to be able to keep up with construction progress via the colored image where it is complete.
calakapepe
Sometimes details are just nice to have. No claim was made that his pic was intended to show the color either. Not everything in life matters. Sometimes things are done just for aesthetics... If you couldn't care less, then fine; ignore the posts please.

dakota2112
I hope a deer won't be standing there when I'm in the first row! (No idea how much clearance there is, but that was the first thing that came to mind)
calakapepe
Low-to-the-ground areas should be fenced off and I wouldn't think deer to be the kind of animal to jump the fence (and stay there) when there are loud noises going on around it. upstop
I remember seeing deer relaxing in the shade next to the track before the second tunnel on The Beast and then remembering....I'm in the front seat...yikes.
Jason1238
Deer are funny about noises...especially in more rural areas. I've hunted pretty much my whole life (mostly in SE Ohio) and have seen deer just stand and watch as a tractor or quad rolls by, sometimes close enough for the driver/rider to reach out and touch them. Now, roll up to those same deer on that quad and shut it off...they'll bolt for sure. It's a perceived threat at that point for some reason. I've always looked, but never have seen deer around the track on Beast. It would surely be a bit of a mess if they decided to take on a coaster train...wonder if KI has thought of this?

TTD-120-420
I know at BGW, we had a deer get into the water in Escape From Pompeii. They said they just waited a few moments and it hopped out and back into the woods.
mikejenkins1
I have been on The Racer twice with deer inside the track area. Heading to the turn around and praying they would stay where they are or get out. Both times, they had evacuatred thank goodness...
fryoj
The last support for the dive loop is up. At this point they have all the supports till after the lift loop in place.
LongTimeLurker
There are still a set of supports to erect for the lift hill loop on each side of the hill but by the looks of things they are going to start installing some more track.
Adventuro
Actually they still have the four large supports for the lift loop left.
fryoj
I guess I meant to say all the supports they can put up. The angle on those loop supports are going to require the track be put up at pretty much the same time. They would probably freestand, but would put a lot of stress in the footer without the track to help support it.
