coasterfanatic83
And by tweaking you mean ruining, right?
jcgoble3
Depends on your perspective. I prefer the new configuration. What's the point of going to a waterpark if you don't want to get wet?
LordSkippy
Although it might have been a bit boring, the old iteration of what is now Action River was at least somewhat relaxing - one might even say lazy.

purdude86
I would like to see a few additions to the water park as well. We need a water coaster and a signature slide tower.

I would say that all of these things classify as either "improvements" or "updates".
BB1
I'd like a few slides instead of the wavepool .

BB1
add a water coaster, would be great, a lazy river , and yes move Congo falls over Would be incredible: No, keep the congo where it is at, I don't want Splashin' Safari Ohio where my waterpark is.
Jr for Birdy
I'm just happy the water park comes free with admission. It spreads out the crowds, shortening the coaster lines on a hot summers day.
RollerNut
All water rides dont belong in a water park, having Congo Falls and Whitewater Canyon outside of it spreads them out so that guests dont have to go to the same area to cool off. I am also pretty sure Intamin requires a shirt and shoes for their water rides.
BeastForever
Pilgrim's Plunge didn't require me to wear a shirt and shoes to ride when I was at HW last year...
TheCrypt
Pilgrim's Plunge is also not located in Ohio.
JTW
I've seen people go shirtless on WWC many times.

See also Thunder Canyon at CP. Neither shoes nor shirts are required by the park on that ride.
DJSkyFoxx
It seems like a park can never be both an incredible dry side and wet side...they will always invest more into one side than the other and I personally would rather a new coaster than a new water slide any day...but at the same time I see all your points. It would be nice if there could be at least one really cool slide or water coaster in the water park.
thedevariouseffect
There was one park with a dry wet side... Poor Geauga Lake, was such a great little park..ah well Also having shirt shoes moreover caters to Manufacturer policies and safety procedures, as well as park mandates. Think, DB could technically be a ride w/o shoes on esp if you wear flip flops. However due to the terrain back there and for evac purposes, shoes are required to ride.
sikkinixx99
I forget the name of it but I really miss the big log flume that was over by The Beast. I enjoyed that ride how high up it went and back into the woods man it was nice.

Nick_Plummer
To be honest, I didn't even consider going to the water park this year. I think they could put some way better water rides in there like Big Boa Falls at the Columbus Zoo's waterpark.
elyk
Same here. I just didn't feel the need to go to Soak City this year because there are no good water rides. They have some decent slides, but Soak City is definitely lacking that major attraction (watercoaster) that other water parks have. Skywriter
Just remember walking through the woods without shoes hurts.
BloodBlade21
It would be nice to see a new slide complex. Maybe a pair of speed slides or some enclosed tube slides life Eerie Falls at CP Soak City (A water coaster would be nice but considering the large amount of capital dropped on Banshee this year I highly doubt CF would want to spend several million on a water coaster). The last new slides added to SC were Mondo Monsoon and Rendezvous Run back in 2004 so even though they revamped it in 2012 it could still use a new attraction.

Kat
I say keep the new wave pool but get rid of the tubes (safety hazard), get rid of the old wave pool and add a water coaster.
