Ride On_17 Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 I searched for a similar topic and didn't see anything so hopefully this hasn't been done before. Do you prefer Vekoma flyers like Firehawk or do you prefer B&M flyers? I actually prefer Firehawk over Superman since I hate that intense pressure in my chest during the pretzel loop of B&Ms. Even though Firehawk does something similar with its vertical loop, the forces aren't as intense and it's really fun. Plus I like how you feel like you're going to fall out of Firehawk--it adds to the excitement of the ride. I also love the flip at the top of the lift hill. It's a cool surprise and suddenly you find yourself flying toward the ground. I've never been on a B&M flyer besides the Superman ones and I've heard Tatsu is awesome. I don't understand the general discomfort people feel from Vekoma Dutchmans, I actually think they're cozy. The rides themselves aren't smooth yes, but restraint wise I have no problems. At least Firehawk is a little more comfortable and actually has some variety in the layout. thedevariouseffect Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 For the stated theoretical I don't think they adjusted it however with the station delays & stuff...Remember the seats were originally supposed to rise as it parked in the station, not after full stop.
