Coasterama
We all know about Cedar Fair's "lack for theming", but let's just use our imagination and say what would be neat to see throughout the 4,124 feet of mystic red track.

TheBEASTunchained
As stated by Don Helbig: "One of the things with Banshee, when your going through the 7 inversions (at) 68 mph, you're not going to notice a lot of theming, but there is going to be some different props and things along the course."
Joshua
The myst/fog is in the night version of the P.O.V. mock-up. I do hope that is part of the night riding experience. graveyard maybe In a video interview with Don, he confirmed that there will, in deed, be keltic tombstones themed around the ride. He also mentioned that they're working on possibly incorporating the "Banshee Scream" sound effect somewhere on the ride.
Gplez90
Has anyone seen the lights and fog on Heide Parks new wing coaster? That would be exactly what id want (at least in the part of the ride before the zero-g roll). Then after the zero-g roll have fog and total darkness the rest of the ride. coasterfanatic83
Later in the evening and after dark I wouldn't mind some fog in areas where the track is close to the ground, but I think this ride is going to be good enough to impress without all the jazz.
medford
As I mentioned in the other thread, don't need a ton of theming, some tombstones similar to what they did for the announcement up front, and perhaps another graveyard setting on a close to the ground flyby. At night, fog effects would be pretty cool, especially near the "front of the ride". the area where Banshee Cam 1 is currently set would make a great spot for the glose to the ground fly by graveyard to be located. Come out of the vertical loop, pass thru the graveyard, you loop up and away from the graveyard, but then get a good look at the backside of the graveyard as you come out to the end of the ride and hit the brake run. The valley may be a huge deterant to what I'm envisioning though. I'll throw this in as well, for the newly rethemed The Bat, they don't need to do a ton. I believe Don said there wouldn't be significant changes to the station, but as I mentioned in the other thread, I'd love to see them do some sort of Cave Moteef (sp?) at the bridge that you pass under when walking to the ride, like your entering/exiting The Bat Cave. A handful (actually many handfuls) of pretend rocks/boulders and some pretend moss could do the trick. I wouldn't think it would be all that expensive and really add to the whole experience.
Sonofbeast2.0
I'd like to see a themed line queue, with tombstones, some graves (maybe some digged up?), some coffins with older ride names with some of the rides props, and a nice creepy/mystic music playing, or instead of some music each grave you walk past has a little tv that shows some of the ride or just a speaker for some sound effects (speaker used on stuff like Phantom Theater). At night the graveyard light up with some dark blue lights and some purple lights (both being neon lights) and a thin layer of ground fog. As for the ride, the theming can be low, because for most of the ride you will be moving to fast. Possible some "easter eggs"/ hard to find objects under some of the fastest moving moments? Fog at night for this would be nice too. Maybe like a "fog screen" right before a inversion so the inversion surprises you. The Station, at night do a similar light package as grave yard, except keeping station well light for more safety reason's. Also, give the station some sign's like The Beast station, like: "If you hear her, RUN! Don't let her throw you for a loop..."
XjoshhyX
seeing as how there will be some graveyard type theming, I would love to see kind of a Dark Forest kind of feel to it.
Adventuro
I think a minimal amount of theming goes a long way. If the station looks as awesome as it does in the renderings... then that will be good enough for me.
homestar92
I don't need any theming on the ride itself for me to have a blast. None, zilch, nada. (Though I would very much enjoy a tunnel or two) I would, however, LOVE a themed queue line that really gets you in the mood of the ride. As it has been stated, at 68 MPH, you won't notice a whole lot of theming. But a line that is immersive goes a long way in making the ride more enjoyable (and worth waiting for).
flightoffear1996
homestar92 you hit the nail on the head right there. Just add a tunnel and some cool lighting throughout the ride. I would rather see money put into making the line and surrounding area more enjoyable. I mean are you really going to notice a tombstone at 68 MPH? My guess is not.

tuxedoman52
At the announcement, I do believe that at night there will be a smoke effect according to Don. Not to sure though.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I do believe that it is indeed a reference to our very own Interpreter. I remember Don making a comment about it at one time. It might have been during our birthday bash Q&A session in International Restaurant.
