Banshee Back VII Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 So, BB7, your whole thesis is that to connect both Action Zone and X-Base, one must add in a launched attraction, which, somehow, would accomplish such a feat? All of this, by INTAMIN? My head hurts. No. See the first post. I was thinking an RMC Woodie. Quote

All of this, by INTAMIN? My head hurts. No. See the first post. I was thinking an RMC Woodie. Still, this plan just doesn't seem that effective in the long run. Sure, RMC would make a killer (No pun here) coaster, but it would almost block the two sections rather than connect. I would rather want to keep our places, and just add in more behind Banshee if the terrain could be moved, or some sort of shift could be made with SlingShot. Even then, that can't happen because it probably makes enough money to stick around as it has for a time. Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 As you do on most rolley coasters! Which ones do you not? I want to hear this. Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 To start, Red Devil at Ghost Town In The Sky. You go down first. The lift hill is at the end. 3 Quote
silver2005 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Thundernation at Silver Dollar City also drops out of the station and has a lift at the end. 3 Quote

The Interpreter Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 At SOME point...yes. But you don't do it quite so conventionally. See also Son of Beast. 2 Quote

razmataz99 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I don't think that X-Base and Action Zone could join, due to Banshee being in the way. But asides from that, putting in a ride (or more) in between X-Base and Action Zone would be tricky due to the military theme of X-Base and the haunted/action(?) theme of Action Zone. It would be quite hard to find a theme that fits in between each one. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 5020T using Tapatalk Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 FOF..military themed..ish. Firehawk..Not so much, especially with that great green paint coming through 3 Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 Add the beloved HUSS Enterprise, and I'll be good to go. 1 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Given who's the manufacturer, I don't see that happening at Cedar Fair any time soon, if ever. 1 Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 Does anyone else produce a similar attraction? Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 But think on the bright side! Quote

Magenta Lizard Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those basically like Skylab? I miss that ride. Quote
Creed Bratton Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 No Skylabs have seating for two, Enterprises from what I understand have only seating for 1. Quote
bkroz Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 But see the first link you just posted above... Quote
Creed Bratton Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 My mistake. Skylabs, have seating for 4 I believe where Enterprise has seating for 2 in each vehicle. Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Enterprises have no restraints and hold you in by the power of centrifugal force. It can seat two riders per car/vehicle. Quote
SonofBaconator Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Bumping a thread- I think the X-Base area has a lot of potential for mass expansion in the future. 2 Quote

It needs some love. A dark ride would be nice for the sake of variety as it already has two coasters, but I would just be happy if something, anything were added to it. It doesn't necessarily have to be a ride. Quote
