September 13, 201510 yr I went to dent schoolhouse last night. They replaced the old playground scene with a new fall festival scene, that is now part of a second queue area. In one of the "festival" booths they have a sign called "Witch's Brew" and they have a car that I think is from the old Kings Island ride, Winnie Witch Cauldrons.
September 13, 201510 yr Looks like you found a real relic! Don't forget that if you like this sort of thing then you can also visit Jungle Jim's International Market for several more.
September 13, 201510 yr I remember the Winnie Witch Cauldron at Jungle Jim's in Eastgate. Probably the first time I had ever seen an old defunct Kings Island ride relic in person, besides the monorail at Jungle Jim's in Fairfield. Edit: Grammar, spelling.
September 13, 201510 yr Which other old rides are at Jungle Jim's? I know of the Lion Country Safari monorail, but what else? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
September 14, 201510 yr There is also a snail statue that used to be in Hanna Barberra Land. However, it is not the one from the Enchanted Voyage. Blondy, who hopes you have a huh-huh-huh happy day.
September 14, 201510 yr I used to love that blue elephant fountain at KI when I was a kid. I was just at Jungle Jim's last weekend and didn't pay it enough attention to realize what it was! Fun to know, thanks
September 14, 201510 yr I recall one of the cauldrons popping up on eBay five or so years ago. I wonder if that's by chance the one.
September 14, 201510 yr I saw the Cauldron when I went to Jungle Jims, I recognized it from one of the pictures of the ride that I found online.
September 14, 201510 yr Which reminds me, what did Kings Island do with the giant Reptar from the (former) Runaway Reptar roller coaster? http://m3.i.pbase.com/g1/99/410999/2/117024443.f1U9oCRu.jpg
September 17, 201510 yr I recall hearing it was broken into bits and scrapped. Unlike the smaller fiberglass figures of SpongeBob, Patrick, etc. (which are lying in fields and can be seen from satellite images), Reptar was probably a bit too big to save.
September 17, 201510 yr I recall hearing it was broken into bits and scrapped. Unlike the smaller fiberglass figures of SpongeBob, Patrick, etc. (which are lying in fields and can be seen from satellite images), Reptar was probably a bit too big to save. That's a shame. I loved that thing! I always thought it would be cool to bring it home, put it in my back yard and turn it into some kind of fountain or slide or something lol. I wonder what the neighbors would think when they looked out their window and saw a giant dinosaur in the back yard?
September 17, 201510 yr Some of those were probably proprietary and intellectual property of Paramount/Viacom (or whoever the successor corporation was) and it was likely that the contract stated that after use the Reptar would be destroyed.
September 18, 201510 yr If we are on the topic of Kings Island remnants elsewhere, then Heritage Presbyterian Church in Mason has an old German-looking trash can from International Street. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
September 18, 201510 yr ^I recall reading that Morgan's Canoes had some old Oktoberfest trash cans too.
September 18, 201510 yr The trash can at Heritage is one of the ones seen here, from the Kings Island 20th anniversary TV special from 1992. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
September 18, 201510 yr ^I recall reading that Morgan's Canoes had some old Oktoberfest trash cans too. Never been to Morgan's, although I guess I'll have to stop by soon!
September 18, 201510 yr A little convenience store down the street from my house had one of those until it caught on fire a few years ago. I just happened to be driving past the store and saw the fire department the putting the fire out so I pulled into the lot. Unfortunately the trashcan didn't survive. It was tough to watch.
December 7, 201510 yr I recall hearing it was broken into bits and scrapped. Unlike the smaller fiberglass figures of SpongeBob, Patrick, etc. (which are lying in fields and can be seen from satellite images), Reptar was probably a bit too big to save. Exactly where can I see the satellite images of the SpongeBob figures?
December 10, 201510 yr I believe I've heard that the light up stars on the highway side of EnterTRAINment Junction were from Paramount's Kings Island.

December 12, 201510 yr i just joined the site to say that if you look at both google maps and bing maps you can still see Son of Beast and up behind timber wolf is spongebob
April 17, 201610 yr Sorry for bumping this thread, but I happened to find my way to Jungle Jim's Eastgate with Hoeter today. I had no idea that a piece of Winnie Witch Cauldron was located in the store....I naturally had to take a couple of pictures when Hoeter pointed it out to me. Also, just realized this is post #3,000 for me though it means little to nothing
April 17, 201610 yr Random question: Where did you get that awesome shirt? Also, I believe that "Big Apple" sign behind you is from Kenwood Towne Center.
