RollerNut
I think it will, sorry I hope I am wrong. I really love Log Flumes because they don't get you soaking wet like Shoot-The-Chutes style rides do.
Magenta Lizard
Eventually? Sure. Soon? No. I saw what made some people start talking about this possibility, and I don't think the image was even meant to tease us, much less warn us. People totally misconstrued something and ran with it.

Aaron88stang
please no. I love log flumes and they are getting harder to find.
Existential
I especially like King's Mills Flume. I do hope that maintenance is not an issue after this long of its livelihood though.
Coaster Addict
Yes. Not this year, not next year, but sometime in the future.
Tyson76
It might get removed eventually but I don't see it being this year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
flightoffear1996
At some point in time.
Joshua
I hope not. Now if it were removed for a larger log flume, then I'd be all for it. But that is just wishful thinking.
Kenban
This year? Â Nothing lasts forever. Â But I do not believe that it is scheduled for removal currently.

Thrill_Biscuit
Well, let me step into my time machine and find out.  [beep-blip-boop-bop-click-click-click Poof!] Okay, I'm back.  Yes, the ride eventually gets dismantled and removed, to the disappointment of Eloi and Morlock alike.  So enjoy it while it lasts.

King Ding Dong
Removed no. Replaced yes. I can think of one in a warehouse somewhere near.
AintNutinElse2Do
I wouldn't mind seeing a Mammoth of a water coaster to replace the log flume in the future. Especially if they found a way to give it a dual entrance from both wet/dry parks.

Especially if they found a way to give it a dual entrance from both wet/dry parks.  I'd rather they just build one in the water park and have both. The three I have seen are in water park sections. And there is quite a distance between the log flume and Soak City, not sure how they could have a dual entrance without really long queues.
King Ding Dong
I have only had on ride on the flume here but it seemed clear to me there is something wrong with it. Not sure what is happening but it was extremely bumpy, like the logs were riding on the bottom and not really floating well. The flume at SFSTL was built in 1972 and doesn't have this issue and the equipment seems similar. Has anyone else experienced this?
Spectrum91
#savetheconeyislandkingsislandlogflume  You could argue it's no longer the Coney Island flume. The ride was closed in 1999 and almost entirely rebuilt by Hopkins (today known as WhiteWater Attractions), sans a few small pieces like the station. Many (myself included) would therefore consider it a new ride.
Outdoor Man
Will come down to cost of maintenance and perceived ROI. Recirculating water and other intangible costs associated probably make this ride more costly to maintain than others.
Shawn Meyer
For the sake of Planet Snoopy and the Peanuts gang, I think this ride is safe!
SonODiamondback
Hate to see any ride removed. Not sure about the cost of up keep. But everytime I been to KI the last two years it seems to have a decent line. If any ride gets removed I think it might be Congo falls it just seems like it's out of the when peple are looking for things to ride. Wanderer
I really hope it stays, I feel like every park should have a nice refreshing log flume, it's such a classic with just the right amount of splash.

westcoaster
Has anyone heard anything on the fate of the log flume I hope it could stay, if not to Coney or over to Strickers Grove hopefully. Even though in the Cincy area Lesourdsville Americana had the best. On a side note does anyone have an article or story the wooden coaster that went to KY Kingdom, was originally going to Americana.
