That looks really nice (the Effial Tower, that is)! I saw them testing some lights a while back while passing the park and I'm surprised the lights will be all the way around (as iirc, they were only adorning the front for the other seasons of Winterfest).

That's cool how they found those clips from the past years of Winterfest. Also, I wonder if they are going to take the Haunt facade at the front gate down in time- last time I drove by, the "house" you enter through near the gates for Haunt was still up. Maybe they'll put some lights on it?

I know that there is competition for Holiday events around the region, but I hate how they featured other events...so you're doing a story on Kings Island's Winterfest and it's exciting return...yet you're sharing clips of other events and talking about how it's competition.

I know, right? That really bugged me; it's like they (those news people) want Winterfest to fail or something.  Thankfully, that spokesperson for KI fought back with some good info on the unique experiences available only at Winterfest.

^ Well, if you want to see every show, it's going to take multiple visits. There ain't no way to do them all in one day.

QuickEdit: Do you like blue ice cream? If so, then Chef Nate would like to introduce you to his latest creation: Blue Hot Chocolate!

No, really:

Thank you @chugh43; I was considering making one of those myself to keep track of everything!

EDIT: Also, I thought that Tinker's Toy Factory would be in KI Theatre (as its 2005 prodecessor was), but I guess not.

Guess what? I went back up just now again hoping to see the Eiffel Tower fully lit up...and it was!

International Street looked awesome too. I saw some cool lights flashing purple and blue. I think it was the Boo Blasters building but I couldn't tell.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the tower with the lights they way they did them this year looks kind of awkward. I'm not a fan of how the lights go up so far then stop short.

Makes it look like, if it was a tree, the top has been cut off then a star placed on the flat section.

I understand that if they want the lights to go all the way around this might have been the best way to do it, but I kind of prefer the old Winterfest tower look:

The star should be at least slightly larger than the top of where the "tree" ends, or it looks odd.

I don`t mind the lights leading up to the star.  The one thing I find goofy, is that the current star is just an outline.  Would have been nice to have some lights to fill in the star.  I do appreciate the fact that the lights go all the way around the tower.  Especially since so much of the park will be open for Winterfest this year.  Only four more days and a couple of hours and we will be able to experience Winterfest, v. 3.0!  I am truly excited!

Looks like the Eiffel Tower is suffering from flat-head syndrome. At least the LeVeque Tower is no longer alone .

The symptoms are apparent.
