BoddaH1994 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 If it's half as fun as the Banshee event then we're all in for a treat... plus it's for a good cause. How cool! 1 Quote
jdf21972 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 $100 for a good causes, but I'm out. Sorry folks I will wait till see #whatsintheshed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
freaks76 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 How much did the price get up to for the Banshee auction I wonder. Great concept. To bad I'll be on my way south and east at that time to spend some time with the Kings sisters.... Quote
Stoan Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Do we have a No Spoilers clause for #WhatsInTheShed? 4 Quote
Magenta Lizard Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I don't know if we do or not, but I don't plan to be the one to spoil it. I couldn't resist, I'll be there! 7 Quote
1lillybug Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I'm so excited for this! We did the Lebron James foundation For Valravn and it was so much fun!!! So with this being my home park I'm way more excited! 1 Quote
VortexBFForever Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I'd love to do this! I may have to attend Wizard of Oz practice at my school on April 13th as it is just one week before our opening night, but either way I'll raise money for a good cause should I participate! 3 Quote

KIObsessed Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I am so excited to go!!!! Haven't signed up yet. I am hoping my husband will donate too. My enthusiasm is strong with the wait for #Whatsintheshed 2 Quote
Creed Bratton Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I originally decided not to do the auction, but I'm quite excited to say I'm doing it now! Looking forward to the event and of course riding with Magenta Lizard and Mrs. NoChickens. 3 Quote
Xdog42 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I understand your name know! At first, I was confused on what chugh43 means. Then I clicked on the link to the fundraiser page and saw Chris Hughes. Then I realized that you username unabbreviated. My main point is that some people on this website have "weird" usernames, but when you find out the meaning behind them it makes sense! Also, I pronounce your name Chug 43. (for ex. Dan was chugging the soda down) Is that right are do you pronounce it a different way. 2 Quote
Creed Bratton Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Haha, I pronounce the user name like c-hugh jackman. 4 Quote
Magenta Lizard Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 We're going to need to add "Chewy" to the ever-growing list of your nicknames. I think I pronounced your username "Chew" in my head before I learned your first name. 4 Quote
Oldschool75 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Don How do we turn in cash donations? I logged in the website but did not get any instruction on how to turn the cash in. Thanks! Bring the cash in an envelope at the event. Make sure to mark it as offline donation on your page. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
APE Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I did this for Banshee and managed to raise $1200 so I am throwing my hat into the ring again. 2 Quote
Creed Bratton Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I'm just now $25 away from the minimum goal of $100! I'm pretty excited about that! 1 Quote
MTskibum Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I talked my fiance into doing this event but she thinks she'll get a better seat than me. Help me prove her wrong. https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/jasontibbetts/mystic-timbers-first-official-rides--launch-partySent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Oldschool75 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I'm not really worried what seat I get. I'm just trying to hit a personal $500 goal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote
MaestroJr Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I'm just happy to be one of the first riders and witness what's in the shed and also the back is my favorite seat on wooden coasters! 2 Quote
MaestroJr Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Except Thunder Run and Racer, too rough! 1 Quote
rcwizard13 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I got over the minimum a couple days after it started, but I've hit a stand still since. I set my goal for $250, so I'm planning to put out another push in mid-March. I'd just like to be high enough to be on the first train. Creed Bratton Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I've officially raised over the minimum!! Cannot wait! I'm interested to see how the event will work with rides. I know I'm not going to be the true first rider and I'm okay with that. I just want to ride with my friends at some point that night, preferably our first ride. 3 Quote
APE Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 If they do it like Scream For A Kid Again it will go something like this. Presentation and top 5 riders acknowledged and called to the ride to pick their seats. very shortly after they will call people in order to fill the first train. ( i was in the top 5 so I am unsure of if they continued that for the other trains) get off and ride again as many times as you want in whatever seats you want during the two hours. They had food available then too for free. 3 Quote
malem Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Glad to see lots of people from here taking part! Those who have registered, check your e-mail for updates sent out by the park this week. There's still time to sign up and/or to raise money. To participate in the first rider event, the $100 fundraising minimum must be met by Sunday, April 9 at midnight. For those getting started, many have been successful by sharing their page on social media channels. 1 Quote
DonHelbig Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Thank you to everyone raising money to participate in this event. It's going to be fun, memorable and rewarding for everyone who takes part. 7 Quote
stashua123 Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Thought to bump this. I had pretty much given up on going to this event, which I was kind of okay with. Since I had gotten no donations even after sharing on my social media.... Well that all changed today when I checked my account and was surprised to see that I had achieved the 100$ goal.... some random person donated 100$!!! VERY happy right now. 12 Quote
MysticsTimber Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Do you have to fundraise $100 in order to participate or can you donate the $100 in your name to participate?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote
