Ok, to count, you must have been waiting INLINE for a PKI attraction. You must have been inside the ride line and not have left it for playing games, getting food/drink. When you reply, you will state your longest wait time, and what it was for. You can also add the year it happoned in. Got it? Good. Let's let the insanity begin! wacko.gif

Ok, ill start it off.

4.5 hours for Flight of Fear. On the first Saterday it opened. They had us winding around in the steel gurdles in the big open area. It was so packed that it just looked like a big mass of people. It was so crowded that you couldent tell where you were at untill you got to an end of an isle.

I remember the day......twas GM day the first year SOB opened, my 2 stepsisters, my bro, and i got in line for SOB, and our parents brought us food and water. We saw a hippie and this little 7 yr. old boyburn his hand on a metal trash can in teh line, they boht were very funny. Also we saw this really tall man with these girls keep talking about water chestnuts....that was great!! We finally got in the stationa dn on the ride and loved it, we waited for 3 hours and 15 minutes in total!! I loved that day!!

>>I saw GC last night in concert at Hara Arena in dayton, Ohiya.

>>>GC= Good Charlotte....for all you un-hip folks!~! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

3.5 hours to ride Drop Zone, on its opening day way back in 1999. It was a fun time in line though, enjoyed watching people determined to get on the ride have associates run into the harness so that the restraint was down far enough. Amusing, but sad at the same time.

I went to PKI on a cheerleading night and the park was packed. Because I was with my cousins I couldn't ride TR:TR right off The Bat and had to ride some otherwise wussy rides. It didn't matter to me though, the line was across the street to the outfitters store. About 25 mins. before closing we enter TR's line. It's still backed up thru all the turnstiles except for half of the last one. During turnstile waiting it breaks down twice and is repaired in roughly 15 mins. each time. My father warned me if it broke down once more, we would bail(this being his first upside down ride, he doesn't even ride AE). We make it all the way through and get on after 2.5 hours of waiting, then it breaks down while we were on it. We finnaly get a ride on it after they test it. It took us about 3 hours and 15 mins. for a 2.5 min. TR ride in September after closing. And I still loved it.

3 hours for Top Gun in '93. Probably wasn't anywhere near as bad for me as it was for whomever I stuck with entertaining my two toddlers while I was gone...one can only watch the Boulder Bumpers so many hundreds of times before it gets old. At least they still had the squirting elephant at that time too.

Waited 2 hours for Son of Beast the first time, that was also my last long wait. There is so much to do that if the lines are that long we keep moving, walking around, playing games, etc.

Ok, I can't vote for myself because I'd be breaking the "rules" but I'll vote for my Mom and Dad. Six hours for Flight of Fear on the season pass holders only day in late May of 96. Three hours holding your place in line and three hours of going through the line. We just happen to have our spot in front of Zephyer so my Sister and I rode Zephyer over and over again until the line actually started to move. FoF and Zephyer was all we rode too in the main park. After we got off FoF we went over to WaterWorks for the rest of the day. Funny thing, it had actually stormed outside while we were in the hangar and we didn't even know about it. Definately one of those moments I'll never forget. biggrin.gif
