I think we can all agree with these...

Disney- Would turn PKI into, "GET ME THE HECK OUTTA THIS PLACE!" thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Six Flags- Would rarely make anything new and... Well just read the post's and you will all understand.thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Universal- Would make PKI a great themed park, adding on to already themed rides.thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Busch Gardens- PKI would become a wonderful landscape of flowers and scenary. And would become a zoo.mellow.gif

Cedar Fair- Would make coaster after coaster with new major attractions each year. Not much different than Paramount.thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Coney Island- PKI just a more traditional park.mellow.gif

SeaWorld- A bit more of the nature theme would be what PKI would become. Very close to the Busch Gardens theme.mellow.gif

I may be wrong to some of them, add your own if I am missing something or got it wrong.

^ Sure Busch Gardens may add a zoo kinda like back in the day and the landscaping would be wonderful but your not giving them enough credit. They have great rides like Montu, Sheikra, Kumba, Gwazi, Appolo's Chariot, and Alpengist plus the dark castle thing looks like ten times better themeing than anything at PKI. The only thing I could say bad about Busch is their choice in some of the names of the rides.

Universal is also selling off their parks. The only Universal Park that is not for sale is Hollywood.

Six Flags sold alot of parks off last year.

Paramount is now shopping around their parks for sale.

I really don't know who would have been running Kings Island if Paramount was not.

The only reason that Cedar Fair execs were at PKI was to observe and learn about Delirium, since their MaxAir is the same type of ride. Additionally, Busch Garden`s and SeaWorld are both owned by the same conpany. Personally, I can`t really imagine any other company taking over KI than Paramount. Think of how many rides would have been different in the past years.

Just think about Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure and then it becme Geauga Lake.

According to screamscape Viacom may be putting Paramount Parks on the block, so who's to say what could happen in the next couple of years. I'd say if they sold Paramount Parks I think Six Flags would buy them before anyone else, and I think that'd suck too. Hopefully Viacom holds on to PKI and the rest of the Paramount Parks.

First off all Six Flags is in no way shape or form able to buy PAramount parks. Before you post please no what your talking about.

Oh, thanks for telling me that dip****. Sorry I don't study financial figures on Six Flags every year to know if it's possible for them to acquire property. My bad! I don't obsess over this stuff. So you can kiss my a**!

With that said, it is unlikely Six Flags would purchase Paramount Parks, there, I said it a** bandit. And for the record, despite the fact that you may want Cedar Fair to buy PKI, it's not going to happen. And just because you would prefer a new roller coaster every single year and a lack of originality, not everyone does, and it wouldn't be the best thing for PKI especially since lately they've been trying more diverse types of attractions with theming.

And one other thing, the word "know" is spelled like that, not "no". You should know how to spell before you post.

^He did? I didn't know Bill Gates had but I do think it would be sweet if Microsoft got a park, I always have. I mean he has more money than he knows what to do with so why not put some of that money into a kick a** theme park. With that kind of capital he could build whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.

Disney - Frankly this is the only one on this list I could almost see buy the park but there are a lot of problems with saying this. It was only a few years ago they did some heavy studies of building seasonal parks and they were very interested. Although I could not see them want the entire chain maybe 2 or 3 parks if they would even want more then one.

Six Flags - Too many money problems there is no way it could happen

Universal - Same boat as Six Flags they have lost money for several years (I think they finally are back in the black last year) Also the parent company wants to sell the parks and is waiting til they are making money so that they can get a better price for the parks don't expect them to actually be owned by universal for much longer.

Busch Gardens - This is the same company as Seaworld. Really I could not see them purchase a park and if they did I could not see it be done in ohio they already gave up on Seaworld Ohio which is now owned by Cedar Fair.

Coney Island - Don't know enough about them to really say anything but I don't think its a big enough company

Cedar Fair - I enjoy the companys parks (even went to Knotts last year) but they are viewed as a stable stock for a reason. They don't expand quickly etc. With the purchase of that Six Flags park in ohio (used to be something lake and also contains the old Seaworld park) I could not see them even looking at more parks for a few years.

There have been some talk about Paramount wanting to sell the park division but I don't know of any companys that want something like it right now. But I also don't think Paramount is going to sell them the parks have been doing well for a few years now and while other chains like Universal were losing money the Parks stayed in the black for Paramount. If Paramount were to sell the parks expect them to try to get rid of them as a chain and I don't think any company wants that right now.

I really would not like to see Six Flags purchase Kings Island at all, with they way theyve run their parks in the past....ugh I just cant stand Six Flags. My dad worked at SFAW back when it was jsut Astroworld and he went back a couple of years ago with it now being under Six Flags management and he says its jsut not as good and that they hardly get anything really good and it has become very run down.

I agree but I could care-less about CP other than how much of a let down TTD was and is I love Universal and Disney.

Why is that?

lol  man you are so easy to mess with. Did Cedar Fair not loose the management of Camp Snoopy?

What do you mean?
