I wouldn’t mind restaurant chains at KI as long as they fit the theme of the area in which they reside.
For example, at the time of my visit, Worlds of Fun had a Panda Express which resided in the Orient section of that park.

None.  Give me more original food options.  Bring back German food.  Whatever it is,  I just don't have any desire to purchase chain food I could get any day of the week.

I didn't care at all when the Subway closed because the couple times I actually got something there, it wasn't even a very good Subway. Seemed like they were getting lower quality ingredients than a "real" Subway.

Festhaus is my primary gripe. The worst LaRosa's in the park, generic burgers-and-fries stuff, and a Panda Express. Should just use one side for what Oktoberfest Gardens once was, and the other side to replace the Biergarten.

I’d go a step further, I would love to see a true craft brewery event at the park showcasing local breweries and driving attendance. Call it Hops and Drops or something along those lines. If nothing else a revitalization of the Biergarten to be modern or have it be sponsored/incorporated with Hoffbraühaus.

All I'm saying is the panda express needs to go. anytime ive ate there its never been that good, most of the time clearly leftovers reheated, and not even very warm when served. Might be a hot take but id say the panda express is the wost restaraunt in the park. only reason its still around id say is cause everyone goes there to shelter and eat

I'd love to see something like Five Guys or In-N-Out Burger in the park.

If only In-N-Out is moving east. Nor Five Guys finding a place to have it. Nor NOR Cedar Fair soon to be Six Flags like creating original theme and restaurant.

My philosophy is chain diners aren't ideal for parks because they allow guests a frame of reference for price and food quality re: diners vs. park. Knowing what it costs for two slices of LaRosas vs what it costs ordering a Large at the actual restaurant (where it tastes better), I'm reluctant to buy it at the park. But Brewhouse, Chicken Shack and Coney BBQ? I won't hesitate to go to those places.
