Cedar Fair Fanboy Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Save *taps on screen* the turtles. 1 Quote
terry wass Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 well I guess. i prefer the paper cup option just because I do not want to carry a cup around all day. you can get a new one every 15 minutes. In addition do not have to worry about storing it when you go on a coaster. 6 Quote
super7 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 I’m not aware of any other chain that offers the paper cup option. Cedar Fairs drink plan is the best because of this. For the reasons above. Plus it’s more sanitary if only new cups are touching these self serve machines. The only benefit of the souvenir cup is bigger drink size but By the time one to drink all of that it’s usually warm or watered down from the ice. The strawless cups probably are more sanitary for the owner. Straws are hard to clean inside. 1 Quote
mikejenkins1 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Holiday World has free soda and paper cups.... 2 Quote
CoasterJack Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Also, hopefully this will lead to fewer spills in the station bins, which would be a true blessing for ride ops and park goers. 2 Quote
KIBeast Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Well, at least they aren't offering those awful paper straws that taste like a #2 lead pencil. I also agree that the paper cups are a better option. I bought the drink wristband at Cedar Point one year and it worked well. No stowing a cup while you ride. 1 Quote
standbyme Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Wondering how much cheaper the new price will be since the cups cost less to produce….just kidding. (As my dad liked to say…500 comedians out of work and you’re trying to be one.) 1 Quote
Taylor.B03 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 I'm going to assume these new lids are like the winterfest mugs, a flap to open and drink from. Quote

flightoffear1996 Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I hated the straws. The kids were always chewing them and when opening them up the little bit of what was in the straw would fly every where. We have a mix of the paper cups/reusuable cups. When putting paper cups in the stroller cup holder the drink would fly everywhere. Quote
CorkscrewMcPuke Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 You may not like it, but this was the peak of souvenir cup design. 5 1 1 Quote
