BoddaH1994 Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 I saw this on Reddit. Last year they started at $15. Bookmark this page for when they try to tell us that rides, restaurants, and so on are closing early due to staffing and not budget cuts. 1 Quote
Orion-XL200 Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 The park is fully staffed! oh wait...new year. 1 Quote

BoddaH1994 Posted January 15, 2024 Author Posted January 15, 2024 Food says it starts at $15.50. Is that a reduction from last year? I know $14 is because people were talking about it on Reddit. Quote

Literally they have to pay more to serve food than to clean up public restrooms. Quote
beastfan11 Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 No wonder they have a waiting list for potential employees! They value their associates in a way that could never be expressed financially! Unbelievable! 4 Quote
CorkscrewMcPuke Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 I'll still work for free if they let me live in the SoB station and gimme some blue ice cream coupons. 1 1 Quote

If you got to live in the SOB station and get Blue Ice Cream you wouldn’t be working for free, now would you? 1 1 Quote
RedSummit20 Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 my buddys son worked there in food last year and was at $20/hr Quote
disco2000 Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Food has been one of the higher hourly rates for the last several years. Almost everyone wants to be a ride op. You can get a food job anywhere outside the park. So to try to staff food and pull some seeking higher wages over the type of job, they offered them more. Quote

Okay, then what about paying less to clean very busy, very disgusting public restrooms? Quote

Apparently it is easier to hide in a bathroom stall for part of shift and text than it is to hide in the food freezer 1 Quote
teenageninja Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 That is pretty wild, because back when I was still at the park in 2011, the restroomers were the highest paid non-supervisor spots in the park (aside from skilled trades). They made $10 an hour then lol Quote
DJSkyFoxx Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 I also noticed there were no armed security positions posted at this time. I wonder if this is also a budget related cut or if the position will be posted at a later date. Quote
