johnjniehaus
I started a thread last year titled "2024 Bucket List Parks" and we had some fun discussing our various trip plans and different parks we want to try to travel to. So here's a new forum for 2025 Bucket List Parks. Where does everyone want to go? What rides do you want to ride? Has the merger affected your travel plans due to having more parks included with all park passport? Have the recent ride closures across the chain affected your plans to visit certain parks? I'm just interested what everyone else is anticipating for this year My current trip plans: Feb: Las Vegas (Bucket List: Big Apple Coaster) Mar: Orlando - Sea World, Fun Spots, & BGT (Bucket List: Iron Gwazi seeing as it was closed during my 2023 visit) April: Carowinds, SFOG, Fun Spot Atlanta (Bucket List: Arieaforce One) May: ACE Spring Conference Virginia (Bucket List: Rapterra) June: Holiday World/KY Kingdom (no bucket list rides just wanna get back to those parks) July: Missouri Parks - SFSL, WoF, SDC (Silver Dollar City has been a bucket list park for me for 3 years now and I never seem to get out there) Aug: Six Flags Over TX (might not make it down there but I wanna ride shockwave again. I have heard the swirling rumors about it's end being near and I also spoke to someone who said ACE might be presenting it with a Landmark plaque this year however we know that doesn't always mean a Park still won't close the ride) Sept: California Great America/SFDK (Bucket List CGA - Berserker, Orbit, and Centrifuge - gimme those classic Schwarzkopf flats!) Oct: Universal Trip (Bucket List: Epic Universe) Nov: Magic Mountain/Knott's (Bucket List: Montezuma's Revenge - which will hopefully be open by then.... hopefully)
faeriewench
Our bucket list is Cedar Point, and Kings Island in August. I grew up with CP, spent quite a few summers working at KI and I just want my daughter to grow up familiar with them too, lol. (plus my parents are in Ohio)
Diamondback_Is_King
I'm hoping to get to Epic Universe this coming summer and of course visit Cedar Point for TT2 and Siren's Curse. Maybe a HW trip? Not sure yet.

If you really want to gray/black out, don't drink any water before you ride and it's way more likely (Don't ask me how I know this). I can't wait for TT2 this year! I never greyed out on Cyrpt (any cycle) and that is really rare for me on any coaster, except ... 305. I get the most grey outs in the afternoons when it is the warmest outside. I am personally not a fan of grey out. A little bit is one thing, but 5 to 10 seconds of grey out (which I get on that coaster) is a little much for me.

I prefer the ferris wheel in a box Crypt to the 08 version. Yes, coming from me, of all people. It was TOO intense. Also scary. And not in a good way either. Orion-XL200
Take time to enjoy the water park and make sure you do the water coasters!
WoodVengeance
Currently my amusement park trips for this year are looking like: March: Dollywood June: Indiana Beach (haven't been before) August: Cedar Point As well as having season passes for both Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom 4 hours ago, CoasterJack said: Hoping to visit Holiday World for the first time in June. Anyone have any recommendations, tips, etc? Try to get on Good Gravy first thing if you can. It only runs one train, so the line can get pretty backed up. Thankfully the park does hand out time cards if the line does get bad, so you can do other things in the park and come back when it's your time to get on. Also keep in-mind Holiday World is on central time, so it's an hour behind if you're coming from the east.

Probably the best around these parts. I suggest being there for the opening of the water park and getting on Mammoth first thing (the line can get over an hour sometimes during the summer). Cheetah Chase and Wildebeest are both amazing too. As for the dry side, Voyage and Thunderbird are the highlights, but recommend everything else as well. If you're near Thunderbird and it's running, ride it because it can break down a lot depending on the day. Not sure if you know, but Holiday World gives you FREE PARKING and FREE DRINKS!!!
