I think it will be a Flat Ride. If we get another major coaster 2 years in a row, I would be shocked.

didn't wicked twister go in 2001...cause that would be Millenium force in 2000 and Wicked twister in 2001...and if it was 2002, then it would be WT and then 2003 for TTD. I don't think Cedar Fair has any problems with two coasters in two years. I would think that the fact that one was used would make two coasters in two years even more of a possibility.

I really wouldn't mind if they got a smaller coaster like wicked twiser.

We're getting Dominator from GL. No, but in all honesty, I voted water park, but I think it's a water park attraction and flat.

I think an expansion for X-Base like alot of Flat Rides and 1 huge roller coaster in 2009.

I also voted for Flat Ride, but I doubt they'll do just a flat. A new water park attraction and a sit-down restaurant may also be in the mix.

As for a new coaster, I see it happening 2009 or 2010, and there's a good feeling that it could be the park's long-awaited signature steel coaster.

I do agree with you that they need to add a restroom back at X-Base. There are no restrooms close to FoF or Firehawk. You have to go to either the top or bottom of Coney Mall to come to the closest restroom.

Is it for sure that we will get anything in 2008? Have there ever been years in which CP or KI didn't have any new major attractions? If we do get something in 2008 I think we will get a new flat ride somewhere on Coney Mall.

Something I'd like to see is a revitalization of Rivertown. That was always my favorite themed area of the Park and Paramount destroyed it with Tomb Raider and the Nick Zone expansion. IMO Tomb Raider is a giant eyesore and a waste of space. They should tear it down and build a wife for The Beast.

You just got Firehawk and you're not owned by Paramount anymore so money has to be shared among other parks in the USA. Keep this in mind and be patient. If they take another ride out GL maybe you'll get it again.

I can tell you for a fact that they wont be taking out Tomb Raider any time soon.

I voted for a flat ride because we don't usually get 2 coasters in back to back years but it sure would be nice. Also they do not need to build around The Beast that needs to stay by its self.

I think the new ride for 2008 will be the new and improved loopless Son of Beast if they use the same name. Technically since they took the loop out they could call it something new then it wouldn't have a bad reputation any longer. I have rode Gerstaler trains before and they are ok but I prefer more padding.

In my simple mind, I think the name itself was the curse-Son of Beast-think about it. I never liked it, but hope it is better. I plan to give it one more shot when it reopens-after that, if it's no better, I will leave it.

Don't even get me started on "Disaster Theming." That has to be the worst idea EVER! I must agree that it is far uglier than Tomb Raider but the major difference is that TR totally destroys the aura of Rivertown whereas DT is just a big ugly building that blocks the view of the lake. DT may be uglier but TR detracts more from the area of the park it is in.

As for the WOB, I was only being half serious. I would never name another woody after The Beast but I think it would be cool if KI built a reputation as a woody capital especially if they can get SOB running well. Also, I think that a woody just fits well with the theming of Rivertown and if you put one where TR is now you wouldn't have to go around The Beast. There is plenty of room back there in the woods.

To bad geauga lake doesn't have any good flat rides that KI could eventually get. I could see KI eventually getting The Dominator (Batman Knight Flight) but that will probably be 2009 and geauga lake will either be just be a water park or a new condo development. If they do build a new flat ride Im sure it will be in Xbase along with a rest room and possibly a food stand. I think Xbase will break off from Coney Mall eventually and become it's own area, they have a ton of land up that way to expand. Also if they eventually revamped rivertown and kinda make it like Cedar Points frontier town that would be awesome, which again they have a ton of land there so they could expand that out to make a nice area inbetween TRTR and Nick. But TRTR will never be torn down it's a pretty fun ride, and between that delerium and drop zone KI has a repuation for being a park with good flat rides.

Well to start Drop Zone is the tallest Gyro Drop in the world and said to be one the funnest and scariest freefall rides around. Also Delerium was the first Huss Giant Frisbee ever and was a smash hit! And the line for TRTR compared to other Top Spins is crazy. So yes I think I am justified in saying KI has some pretty good flat rides.

Another park could have a million flat rides, doesn't mean they are all good and fun to ride.
