Do you realize you don't have to post a new thread on here every time you have one little idea about Kings Island?

No nead to be harsh^. Yes, I have noticed that SonofBaconador has posted alot of topics recently. But you dont have to rub your KIC Platinum member skills into his little KIC tourist face.

How about we all get along?

My favorite was at Cedar Point. While standing in line for Top Thrill Dragster, a father was talking to his son and pointed up to a jet plane flying over head and said, "See, that's how they keep the guests cool in the park. They are laying down cloud cover."

I thought it would be great if KI had a diving coaster!! I think it would bring in a lot more visitors. Maybe in the Action Zone? When I rode Sheikra, it was amazing! I don't know though. It's just a dream of mine.

No. SheiKra was... underwhelming to me. Just didn't do enough, and the gimmick of dropping from a standstill was just that: a gimmick. All it did was make me say to myself, "Come on, go!" Definitely not a must-do for me if I go back to BGT.

That reaches into discrimination territory, a spot you do not want to be in unless you want to end up in a lawsuit. There are those who have started preschool who can handle a haunted house better than those who have finished college. If anything, the parents are the ones more at fault for either dropping their kids off by themselves or dragging them kicking and screaming into a haunted house. It's one thing for a parent to allow you to console a crying youngling if they had too much; it's another when the parent decides to yell at you because you're in the vicinity of their bawling child and they begin freaking out all over again. The latter is infuriating to a monster, and in those moments I completely forgo the child and go straight for the parent.

The problem with posting multiple topics about his ideas can be considered spam and it does clutter the boards. Most of the ideas can be put under topics already created.

This coaster, new for 2012 at Happy Valley in China has a new wooden coaster element introduced by the Gravity Group called a "High Five". It would be kinda neat to have a coaster like this at Kings Island, and overall the ride looks very smooth.

If I had to pick one coaster to be the next attraction at KI and have it recreated, I would pick I305. I think that would be a fantastic addition to KI and their is nothing there that even resembles it at all!

Diving coasters are enjoyable, but if it was placed right next to Drop Tower, something would seem wrong to me. It is just like a Drop Tower, but then hops around a bit after.

KI really needs to hire these guys to build a great woodie.

I've seen parents insist on bringing their infants (under 3) through the house. I cannot even begin to count how many circles I went in, leading families through shouting "No Scare!" ahead of me cause of crying infants. (It's a policy thing.)

Kings Island has had a baddest coaster. Some say more than one, Terp observed dryly.

I always figured the reason the cabin shot to the end of the tower was Never knew Space Spiral had a counterweight! (Learn something new every day.)

If you take took the passenger cabin off at ground level, you'd have the problem of the counterweight dropping from the top. By keeping the counterweight at the bottom (and the cabin at the top), they only had to worry about one heavy object falling to the ground during demo. Notice that the cabin moves upward and actually strikes the top of the tower, as it's still being pulled by its counterweight while it falls. Since they knew exactly where the cabin would impact the ground, at the top of the tower, they dug a hole there to soften the impact. Removing the cabin/counterweight before demolition would have been dangerous work at the midpoint of the tower, 150ft up. I imagine it was much cheaper to simply drop it intact in a predictable fashion.

While I could tell it was an authentic video, I too was VERY surprised that they removed it that way. I thought they would, at minimum, disassemble the passenger compartment on the ground before dropping the tower... and I figured that would have been done with a crane and torch as opposed to a shape charge.

I actually thought it was fake too until I read the description of the one Cedar Point uploaded.

I don't know if this counts as a ride but I would put the motion seats back in the Action Theater and make it Days Of Thunder again. That is my favorite movie and I miss it being at King's Island. I always loved the show cars and everything that went with it.

I entirely forgot about the Eagles! Those were always so fun. My mom could make us go the highest I've ever seen, and she would always snap! An unforgettable, interactive ride I wish we still had. I remember, for the longest time when I was a youngster, I always thought they were storing it somewhere, in hopes they could bring it back. But alas, I learned more and was sorely disappointed. I wish we could have all the "classic" rides back. Rides like the Rotor, Wheel of Fortune, Tumble Bug, Zodiac, Ferris Wheel, KCKC, Scooby's Ghoster Coaster, Der Spinning Keggers, Skylab, King Cobra, The Flying Dutchman, Bayern Kurve, Bavarian Beetle, Halley's Comet, Cuddleup, and the Skyride were all rides I missed, and they can not be brought back easily.

Maverick to X-base! But with new theming. Honestly though I just want a clone of it. I want the one to stay at CP. Also, I think Gatekeeper would look good where SoB is, but push it closer to Delirium in that unused space.

I always hear a lot of the macho guys in the area acting bad then when they get scared they always something ridiculous, but I think this topic should be locked and just keep it all in the original topic.

I don't see why they'd start demo on SoB when there is still a haunt insides its station.

Replace the cowbell-playing, spandex-clad men with men in inmates' costumes. Now, fill the room completely with thick fog, play a really annoying siren constantly, and turn on approximately 6,205,829 strobe lights at once. I wouldn't be surprised if someone announced that more people left that haunt of a haunt through the emergency exits than the actual exit, because that was miserable. I'm not epileptic, but it messed with my head (and not in the "good" way) and made me sick. EDIT: Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Death Row's siren is used for Mysteria, at least as of 2011. Rather than just blaring the darn thing, they just "pulse" it--let it rise to a certain pitch, then stop. Better yet, it isn't constant.

What was so bad about Death Row? (never got a chance to go through it). Surely it has to be somewhat better than men in spandex playing cowbell...

Those wanting items or houses built from the SOB lumber should really do some research on treated lumber. It was mentioned yesterday that the main sticking point for souveniers using said lumber from SOB is that it has been treated with Arsenic and other HIGHLY toxic compounds. Of course, after that tidbit someone still asked if they could bring Marshmellows.

I think the point was, in 2012, I'm going back to Fear Fest times. Then I'll go back to the Future, only to find out that my arch enemy is now the rich owner of a huge casino and hotel, so I'll have to go back to the past and save the future...
