Why take down The Vortex?! I love that ride.

They should realyl look into that one year. Novemeber really isn't a bitter cold month so people would still be willing to go outside. The park is going to packed no matter what in OCT. so if they expand the operating schedule into Nov. they could have the only haunts in the area open (not sure if that would work well though since its after halloween) and I think the park would have a good sized crowd there.

Maybe people cant get enough haunts in. I just wonder how succesfull the haunt would be in nov. with all the rides closed.

There wont be a need to hold your head against the head rest since you won't have a headret to slam into you. Im not a fan of that Zac Spin ride. It just looks like the line will be horrible for a sub par ride.

Heres what I do durning the haunt. I make sure to get in line if I am visiting on Saturday 30 minutes or so before the haunt opens. This gets me in one haunt rather quickley. If your lucky you may get in one more haunt before lines start to get super long. After one or two haunts hit up some ride until about 11:30 or so. By this time the park seems to empty out on most nights and you should be able to get in a good 4 or 5 more haunts until the park closes at 1:00.

Yes that first picture is really cool and very unique!

And that is the same reason why my visits end in Sept.

All major rides are open. Weather pending and unexpected downtime of course

I dont think we will see anymore rides that even remotely look like TTD.

Ok well then just nix the entire show then. Let the money go somewhere else wherever that might be.

Or maybe just an idea make one good show on a Saturday night. The fireworks Im sorry to say is poor.

I think KI fireworks are really lacking in quality and I kind of wish they would just do away with them and spend the money else where.

Adventure Express had a long line the entire night. The park was surprizing kind of crowded.

I believe the ride used to spin around twice not just once. My questions is what brings the car to the ground after it hits the brakes?

You can live in Indy and its still a local park to me as you drive to, visit the park, and return home all in a single day. For a family of 4 with smal childern are they going to spend the extra gas to go to Kings Island when SFKK is cheaper right down the park and the kids would likely enjoy just as much as they would Kings Island.

I really still think KI is more of local park when most of its visitors are season pass holders and not ticket buyers.

I for one have clipped the top of the tunnel with my finger. I didnt think it was possible so I held my hands up as high as I could. Opps. I am 6'3" though so I guess most people wouldn't be able to touch it.

Anyone think if Kentucky Kingdom does open what it means for Kings Island. Bigger better rides, lower food prices to still keep trying draw away from Kentucky Kingdom. Some local competion could be very good for KI

I think the ride time is also shorter on the KD Drop Tower.

i am very busy this weekend and really wanted to make it to the park but doesn't look like I will be able to. Maybe next Friday.

I really like the idea of restorting the parking lot. Somethign KI really needs to do. Sometimes its very hetic getting out if you stay till closing.

I dont really like the hamburgers there at all and I dotn really eat Skyline there since there is many around that are a lot cheaper. I have to say the only place I really have gotten anything to eat at the park is the LaRosas pizza in the Festhaus. I would like to give that Buffet a try at least once though.

I understand that but sometimes waiting 60 minutes or more for a haunt that is only 5-6 minutes long is crazy. I am sure alot of people would be wiilling to pay $10 or $12 for a really long haunt and not hae to stand in the long lines for the shorter haunts.

As if it would matter if MF had MCBR. They always stack the trains anyway.
