WE crossed the line beyond the line I thought we would be crossing!

Yea I told them I had my 07 passs transfered and they said no they have to retake the picture.

The trains have always stopped before in the rain though so because one slide at a slow speed into another a few drops on the track means they must close the ride down.

How come when I got my 08 season pass I still had to get my picture taken and I have been a pass holder for 15 years.

Sure give it a shot. I still really dont understand this rule but I guess the rules are the rules and we got to follow them,

Sweet trip report and I loved on how you put the times you werein line. Are those excat and did you write the times down or something HAUNT ON!

Here it goes my rant on how stupid this is. I was at Cedar Point in line for the Mantis. The line was maybe 20 minutes or so. We got about half way threw when it was spitting out. The rain was so light it wasnt even hitting everyone. The ride still closed and no longer than 3-4 minutes the ride was reopened and running test. They had to re do a block test and what not and ran about 7-8 cycles which took about 10 minutes. How freaking stupid.

This is the way I feel. Its the same way as rated R movies. If yo dotn want to see them just don't go. Its as simple as that. They posted warnings to let everyone know and if they still choose to do so then dont complain. Joe

yea the line for Max Air is really short. I waited in it when it was filled up and it took about 15 minutes until I was riding. Usually most guest are riding Raptor, MF, TTD and Maverick.

YOu have to love those parking lot coasters. Dominator was sweet right next to that lake at GL. They should rename all the Italian Job Rides to NYC: Driver

I will be going the last Monday that they will be open to get my free jacket. How come they just don't give them to you when you buy your pass I will never know.

^ If they indeed do that I really think that would be one of the stupidest things they could do and to me this would show that they really want Cedar Point to remain there main park. Kings Island I would venture to say could have the ablilty to grow where it is attracting 6-7 million guest a year. They have plenty of room to build coasters and world class thrill rides, also they have more than enough room to have a waterpark that is bigger and better than most parks that are waterpark only and still have a nice chunk of land to expand the kiddie area this way they are really attracting people from all groups. I think it would be cool to have a parking garage with large elevators and exits. This could elimate both the need for a tram, and people would have a 20 minute walk to thier cars. Also this could free up massive amounts of land.

Faster Cycles faster loading times.

For the ride experince I think the G-Trains would be good but visually I think they would look silly on there. I think Cedar Fair knows that The Beast is basiclly Kings Islands back bone and they are only going to do whats best for the ride. Most of you on this site are just people who love Kings Island not engineers or maintance crew for the park and you truely don't know the condtion of The Beast.

I am just so happy that Cedar Fair now owns both parks. I got to Cedar Point 8 to 9 visits a year usually about 3 trips and if Cedar Fair never bought the parks I would never be able to do that. I dont really think this 2 billion dollar debt or whatever it was is going to last much longer with probaly millions I would say around 200 million or so with the sale of the Geauga Lake land. Plus dont forget moving rides is less costly in most cases than getting new ones and they can be marketed as new rides at the new parks now. I am wondering how much KDs attendance will go up with the addition of Dominator. Also I belive Cedar Point is adding a new kiddie area with Nick charcters for 08.

The conga line really does dull the attraction but maybe they could send the groups in more often.

Yea KI I would say gets more local visitors than anything. Really CF could really use owning both parks to there advantage cause people are now upgrading passes in order to be able to visit both parks KI and Cedar Point.

Really I think they just need to find away to up the capcity of these things or instead having 10 smaller ones maybe have 2 or 3 larger ones that are like 45 minutes long like the USS nightmare or something and maybe charge like $20 or so to get in the park.

I think they need a light by the midway were the Zephar is. When the light is lite up that means Flight of Fear is open. When the light for Firehawk is lite up that means its open.They could get fancy and put a digital wait time on the there as well.

I think the park should allow only 16 year olds and up at all times!!! All the little teens do is vandelize the park half the time nad most of them have season passes and dont spend a dime in the park. It looks that way at the park to me anyway.

All I can say is some one had a big "OPPS".

I hope the park switches to Pepsi. While I think regualar Coke is better than regualar Pepsi, I feel that Pepsi makes better drinks. Mountain Dew and Gatoraide are the first ones thats come to find.

I don't know so don't bash me for asking but A)What is the big deal about the hydraulic fluid being sprayed all over the place. Yea it might ruin someones clothes but a free T-Shirt(s) would have more than made it up for me unless it can damage your skin?
