My biggest advice honestly to you is don’t plan your day out. Just go and have fun. Those are always the best trips in my find. I know its tempting as well but if you haven’t seen a POV of the rides yet don’t watch them before you go.

Not a lot for me but maybe to rent a cabana one day at the water park and get burnt to a crisp. Not sure why but that sounds fun to me

The permit that we saw was for 2020. Does that mean the ride would open in 2020 or construction would begin in 2020?

I wasn’t really yet into roller coaster when my dad pushed me to give it a try. I was so nervous but obviously made it through the ride. It was one of my only roller coaster rides with my dad and I will alway remember that.

If the area for Firehawk is be used for the new station and they may not really need to clear a lot of land depending on the layout.

From what I have read however is that there really has t been any proof that riding a roller coaster would hurt an unborn child but I personally would not risk it. I am not sure how many studies have been done on it either.

Congratulations! The best thing is to ask your dr and abide by the signs at the rides. My wife was pregnant last season and she road the merry go rounds train and the Effiel tower. She didn’t ride anything outside of that. We use Kings Island for a lot of our date nights and she was a real trooper when dealing with all the dirty looks while waiting in line with me.

I would think a lot of the issue is not with the parks but the actual manufacturers of the rides.

From when I entered the coaster world about 15 years go a giga was “any” coaster between 300ft-399ft.

Other than any park records that it might set I dont think a Kings Island giga coaster would set any world records.

Anyone else wish the ride was less compact? I kinda of wish the ride was spread out and in a different location. Be interesting to see how ‘natural’ flowing this area will look like

I understand the whole from another country thing if you come to the United States you need respect the rules and laws of the United States as if an American where to go to Mexico we would need to respect their rules and laws.

We brought the wrong stroller to Disney and they told us at the gate and took us over to get a stroller rental free of charge and we picked up our banned stroller when we left for the day.

Let’s face it Son of Beast was a pretty lame ride without that loop.

Just throwing my two cents in it’s not about how many guest you have but how much money they are spending in the park. My family generally spends $20.00 or so each visits but I am sure there are plenty of guest who spend $0.00 after admission.

How do you know exactly what the ROI on those two investments were?

Just curious as to why its not similar. They are both launched blitz style coasters.

My only personal disappointment is that cirque show would have changed. While Gravity was an awesome show a new story line to keep us engagaed would have be awesome.

What about a dark ride themed to a haunted abonded lumber yard? Do something similar to Spider-Man at IOA but of course on a Kings Island budget.

I believe we saw land clearing for Diamondback in late 2007 but I could be wrong on that. I would think the site should ramp up in activity here soon if we are getting a new coaster in 2020
