  1. We don't even know when Kings Island will open for the 2020 season. In fact I have a feeling it'll open earlier than 4/20.
  2. Still unable to see the picture.
  3. I don't know. As much as I absolutely hate Vortex and would love to see it wrecked, I do agree that it's an icon to the park and doesn't have that much maintenance issues.
  4. I think it'll be a while before we see another coaster at Kings Island after this. I'm saying like 4-6 years. I doubt they'll do another log flume. It seems like log flumes are dying out. I think we are more likely to see new water rides in Soak City than the park itself. My 5 year plan following 2020 (probably will change) 2021 - Planet Snoopy expansion 2022 - Soak City Expansion, 50th anniversary celebration 2023 - flat ride package, Invertigo/Congo Falls leave at the end of season 2024 - new restaurant and/or family ride/prep for 2025 2025 - Mack double launch
  5. I honestly think that we'll continue to get some B&Ms in the future since the plant is just down the road. But I also see us getting some coasters from other manufacturers. I think an RMC is in our future and maybe a Mack.
  6. I was thinking a nice day to announce the coaster is July 25th (Christmas in July). Mystic Timbers was announced late July. It's just my opinion. I could also see August 16th with it being national rollercoaster day. Just my opinion. I hope it's after 10 pm like the last two coaster announcements because that could make for a very fun day at the park with the hype.
  7. I think the overflow queue for opening weekend would be using the haunt and the haunt's queue that is there. Kinda like what they did for Mystic Timbers where they used the crypt building and the haunt's queue as an overflow.
  8. Sorry I'm late to the party today. I got a new phone finally! Anyways, according to the blueprints, it looks like there will be no gift shop at the exit. I wonder where they'll sell the merch for this coaster since there aren't really any gift shops nearby and with this coaster being this big, I'm sure they'll want to sell merch for it.
  9. Well according to this Instagram post today, some pieces were delivered to Hershey
  10. Probably just a nice number they decided to slap on a building
  11. No Racer is a classic! Leave it alone!
  12. If I remember correctly, Copperhead Strike was trademarked pretty early. I believe Valravn was too.
  13. John Matarese and wcpo Chopper 9 incoming..lol
  14. I would be shocked if there was no teaser campaign knowing how big a project and how hyped up this is. Also sorry for the double post.
  15. Looking at the blueprints, it looks like the typical lift lighting. Maybe I missed something.
  16. But things can change. I wouldn't be surprised if our teasing campaign is a little different than last year. In fact it will be different with the timing. This time last year the park was already dropping hints on social media. In my opinion I would expect after Grand Carnivale, the park will start dropping hints on social media.
  17. There are several comments on YouTube who thinks these blueprints are fake. I myself think there is too much detail and stuff on these plans just to fake it. Plus I doubt they would send fake blueprints to the city hall just to troll a few enthusiasts. Anyone else think this too?
  18. If I remember correctly, Carowinds didn't start the teasing for Copperhead Strike until the end of June.
  19. I'm excited to have a quonset hut in the queue line. Looking at these pictures, I think they could put some theming or something in there and make it cool. Image Source: https://www.stclaircounty.org/Offices/parks/gallery.aspx?id=12
  20. Will the giga probably be struck by lightning? I'm guessing they need to add a lightning rod to the tall rides!
  21. As much as I would love Millennium Flyers on those two coasters, I don't think the park is interested in doing that.
  22. At least Cedar Fair is taking a year off from the brown track and actually doing something colorful. Their most recent additions have mostly been brown/red/copper colors with strange names ie. Mystic Timbers, Yukon Striker, Steel Vengeance (not weird imo), Twisted Timbers. The only exception was Hangtime in 2018. Anyway I'm excited for this coaster and theme! It'll be nice having a very good coaster next to FoF and not an average Vekoma. It used to be I would skip that area because of the horrendous lines.
  23. Yeah, I was wondering how they would be able to build a coaster with that power line running over that area.
