  1. I have another theory. I wonder if they are going smaller because of the amount of theming this coaster might have. CF seems to be going all out on theming now (ie. Copperhead Strike). Maybe they'll build a realistic spacecraft model or something like that. Just a theory of mine.
  2. I think the names are okay. Definitely not great though. Although it's better than the whole Mystic Timbers/Twisted Timbers/Yukon Striker thing they were doing before. I don't like either of those names.
  3. I'm sure KI will still consider it a giga coaster and market the 300 foot drop. I'm not upset about this at all. I just don't know if they'll market it as a hyper coaster when they have the 300 foot drop to market it as a giga coaster. BGW markets Apollo's Chariot as a hyper when only the drop is in hyper range. To me this is more something we haven't seen before with a giga. This is more the Apollo's Chariot as a giga, but we'll see. Plus they can market it as the park's tallest, fastest, and meanest coaster.
  4. It seems like he made a new thread called "Buy your documents now"
  5. The biggest issue I've noticed is the chicken shack in AZ. The food is good don't get me wrong, but the restaurant itself is chaotic. I'm not a big fan of their system. You get an order number and you wait for them to call out your number. The issue is that on busy days, it gets really loud in there and they don't have a microphone to call out the numbers or even a screen where order numbers can pop up on. So it's very hard to hear the order numbers. In fact last fall at haunt, they said the numbers out of order and there were some people by me who said that they were waiting in there for over 30 minutes and many people behind them got their food before them and it was so crowded and was so much racket in there that it was so hard to hear my number. I like the chicken shack, but the chaotic scene it causes in there is my biggest issue. I actually prefer the way it was before where you ordered and got your food and went to the cashier.
  6. A 300 foot drop would actually be good. Millennium Force has a 300 foot drop and it's actually a really long lasting drop. I'd expect this to be a nice long drop that would scare the socks off some of the general public.
  7. Another good way to market it is similar to how they marketed WindSeeker back in 2011 in the park. They had a WindSeeker sign that said 58X taller than this sign. I was going to upload a picture, but for some reason the upload keeps failing.
  8. That looks like it'll be used for the ride operators.
  9. So I'm guessing teasing should start soon. The first teaser could maybe even just be a tweet by the park themselves. A good one would be "What goes up must come down #KIproject2020"
  10. I don't know much about construction, does anyone know what these metal things are used for? Credit: Theme Park Frenzy on Facebook
  11. That "clearing" has been there for years
  12. Yes. Credit: Theme park frenzy on Facebook.
  13. It doesn't look like there is a MCBR. Leviathan and Fury don't have them since they have a very long brakerun.
  14. Yeah, I think that it'll be like a 3-5 year gap. I'm leaning towards 4 years, but I've been wrong before. For our next coaster, I'm going back in forth between a ground up RMC and a Mack double launch.
  15. If I remember correctly, the company who did Banshee's sign also did other things around the park as well. Like Tropical Plunge's sign.
  16. Do you guys think that for opening weekend crowds, they'll use the Chaos building and queue as an overflow queue kinda like they did with MT by using the crypt building?
  17. Kinda interesting if they are walking around Congo Falls as well. There are rumors that both Congo and Invertigo will be removed in the next few years. I could see those two being the next on the chopping block and it could be where our next coaster is going (after 2020). But it could be nothing (like the whole RMC spotted at KI rumors from last summer).
  18. No it's the name of the project. For example: Copperhead Strike was codenamed Project Alpha.
  19. I doubt an announcement will come this early even though we have blueprints and stuff. They're probably going to start a teaser campaign here soon and drop hints over the next month or two and have an announcement at the end of July. I could be wrong though.
  20. My sister hated Rougarou. She said she had so much head banging. I didn't think it was that bad at all. In fact, it's like the best B&M at CP imo.
  21. The park is more focused on the general public since they bring in the most of the money. Yes, they want to attract enthusiasts too, but the major target is the general public. They want to build a coaster that both the enthusiasts and the general public can easily enjoy and are able to reride it. I305 for example ranks in many enthusiasts top 10, but the general public don't like it as much since they find it a little too intense. Leviathan and Fury fixed that problem and that's something I believe KI wants. It is something that both the enthusiasts and the general public can enjoy.
  22. I don't think we'll get an RMC hybrid, but I could see us being one of the first parks to get a Trex. Or I could see a topper track wooden coaster like Outlaw Run.
  23. Back in 2017, I tagged along with a group who came from my former town in Indiana. Two people in the group brought these large backpacks and we had to get two lockers at Mystic Timbers for that.
