There's this guy on Instagram who is posting drone pictures of KI everyday. He got a close pic of Orion and I can definitely see a blue light strip similar to Fury.

Yeah I don't either. That is only if the stay at home order expires May 1st which is pretty unlikely at this point.

Idk I just don't see the park calling off the season unless they get to a point where they absolutely have to like sometime in July.

I still think the odds that the park just won't open this year are pretty low. However, I do agree with what you've said in the past about they likely have a time on mind that if they can't open by then, they'll just scrap the season. I think that time is sometime in July.

I would prefer an intamin multi launch launch coaster without the spike TBH. I honestly don't know how the spike would work with capacity.

Knott's is a little easier because they are a year round park so they can keep those passes rolling after New Years. Now, I do expect other CF parks especially KI to follow suit. Doesn't confirmed they are closed for the year, but it will make things better if the park were to open in mid June or July.

Unfortunately we are going to likely have to suffer the loss of several small businesses because of this.

Now the Cleveland Clinic CEO is saying the peak may not come until mid may-mid June. That shows that any of hope of the park opening in May might be pretty much dead. Sorry guys. We can still hope and pray it comes earlier and cases go down and we can open in late May or early June, but now that is starting to seem unlikely to me.

This wouldn't be the first time KI opened a multi million dollar coaster during a bad economic year. Diamondback opened during the 2008-09 recession and we saw a huge drop in attendance that year. If anything, 2021-2022 should be when we see the biggest affect Orion has in terms of attendance and revenue.

Not that I know of. Any talk of the season being cancelled is just pure speculation at this point.

You know what would be awesome is if they bring back the old Kings Island logo for the 50th anniversary in 2022!
