  1. Cedar Point's 2020 map was released. I wonder when ours will.
  2. I say if we get to a point where we open in mid-late summer or not at all, that's when we could see something like that happen.
  3. I honestly don't think the park when replacing a coaster looks too much into how close the replacement is to the former ride. In fact, I would argue that KI chooses not to replace a coaster with a very similar coaster type. Like they didn't replace SOB with another wooden coaster. They also didn't replace Firehawk with another flying coaster. So if they were to replace Vortex with a coaster, I doubt it would be a sit down looper or floorless (a floorless is pretty close to a standard sit down looper, but is a little different.)
  4. I agree with that. I know people love to trash DeWine, but I always say that he doesn't play around when it comes to this. Like we had very few cases and he took action right away. That's imo a great thing.
  5. I also haven't been on the 2 newest rides in Planet Snoopy as well as Tropical Plunge in Soak City. I haven't been to Soak City in years mainly because I try to avoid Soak City because the lines for slides take forever.
  6. I'd be fine with it, but it is not my first choice. If I was running the park, I wouldn't go with that. I would probably go with an RMC ground up or multi launch coaster (probably Intamin) but I'd be fine with Mack.
  7. The only ones I have not done is the two up charge attractions (Slingshot and Xtreme Skyflyer).
  8. I used to be obsessed with Viking Fury years ago. I remember that would be one of the rides we would hit in order to end out the day. A local carnival in Maineville (that no longer takes place) one year had a swinging ship carnival ride. I didn't ride it though because for some reason I was scared. I also rode the swinging ship they had at Ober Gatlinburg years ago.
  9. I don't think they should remove Viking Fury. It is a very family friendly attraction that basically the whole family can ride.
  10. Well it's finally April (the month that was supposed to be when we would be riding Orion)! March 2020 was probably the longest month of my life lol! Hopefully hopefully hopefully (fingers crossed) that this is the final full month of not being able to visit the park (not counting on it though).
  11. I say if the next big addition were to be in Rivertown, that's when they could repaint Diamondback similar to when Valravn was built where they repainted Raptor.
  12. KI should set up a game using those things! Like in Soak City and/or during the summer nights event currently planned.
  13. Vaccines can take a year or more to develop and be ready.
  14. Plus New York may be one of the last places to resume operation (if they stay the main US hotspot).
  15. Anyone who still thinks this is a hoax needs to wake up from fantasy world and realize it is not.
  16. Yeah, I know here in Ohio we started to take these measures when we only had very few cases.
  17. Wow there is so much negativity on here. I understand this is a scary time, but to say the season is over when we are at the end of March is kinda silly.
  18. I honestly think KD already has a bunch of people hired. I don't know about training though.
  19. Taste of Cincinnati was postponed to Independence Day weekend.
  20. I had a dream last night that Orion finally opened and in the Quonset Hut building, they had some smoke and rocks. Nothing really to fit the theme.
  21. That's because this is a breaking story. They'll announce soon.
  22. I think some states are going to ease restrictions earlier than others. I think states with large beaches and huge tourism numbers (like Florida and California) will be some of the last to ease restrictions. June 10th imo is a little too late, but isn't surprising since they are trying to play it safe. It is subject to change at any time.
  23. What is so bad about the cruise industry? I know plenty of people that love to go on cruises and I've never been on one before.
  24. Yeah, I think the regional parks may open before the large destination parks like Disney or Universal.
