  1. Probably. It seems pretty evident that Knotts is getting something for Camp Snoopy next year, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get a clone of SSBR, or another coaster model that reuses the same name.
  2. Well, I got the FAAC repaint correct at least...
  3. Having the kids area split between Planet Snoopy and Camp Snoopy is really taking be back to the 90s and early 2000s when we had our kids area split between Hanna Barbera and Nickelodeon.
  4. If the rumors of Canada's Wonderland getting a coaster in 2025 are true, then probably not.
  5. I'm thinking Knotts is getting this as well. The fact this ride has "soapbox racers" in the name probably alludes to that.
  6. They haven't scheduled an announcement yet, but there is a teaser on their facebook that pretty clearly teases a camp snoopy addition. They might be doing a surprise announcement tomorrow but we'll have to see.
  7. Before tomorrow's announcement, I just want to say this has been pretty fun speculation. I'll admit Planet Snoopy and Soak City aren't necessarily my cup of tea, but it's always nice to see the park getting something new even if it's something I personally won't ride. Here's hoping some day I can help contribute to the next major decoding thread.
  8. Could be coincidence, but apparently Snoopy's birthday is on August 10th.
  9. Planet Snoopy is possible as well, but we will see what happens tomorrow.
  10. I'm hoping it's not another lackluster 6am announcement like what Cedar Point did with Top Thrill 2
  11. To be fair here, Kings Island has done this with the announcements for Antique Autos and Adventure Port as well, so it's not really a new issue for the park when it comes to non-coaster announcements.
  12. As expected, the comments on the post are already being filled with people asking for RMC Son of Beast...
  13. How likely would it be if Kings Island did Soak City and Planet Snoopy the same year? There's been markers found in both areas.
  14. Not really sure how likely it is, but I started to think how a Vekoma tilt coaster would fit in The Vortex plot. In my opinion, a tilt coaster akin to Circuit Breaker at COTAland seems like it would be a great alternative to a B&M Dive and would provide a spectacle to see throughout the park. Seeing how much a coaster like Gravity Maxx has gained notoriety throughout social media, I do think a coaster of this type would be immensely popular and would bring a ton of people to the park. Personally my #1 pick for that land would still have to be a mack extreme spinner, but I wouldn't mind a vekoma either if Cedar Fair wanted to save some money on the investment. I know Cedar Fair hasn't worked with Vekoma lately, but I do think we'll see them work with each other at some point given how Cedar Fair has been experimenting with different coaster manufacturers lately.
  15. I personally think that's for the best since I've heard the current rmc raptors aren't aging well at all. From what I've read online, Wonder Woman Golden Lasso (Fiesta Texas) has already gotten rough and is in the process of getting refurbished and is planned to get new trains next year.
  16. I agree. I know it was joked around that The Vortex structure was "sinking", but I guess there was some truth behind that meme because the whole area now looks like a giant sinkhole apart from the small drone pad. I hope it isn't too much longer before we see some activity on that plot, but given Canada's Wonderland "supposed" launched wing coaster, that's already one possible candidate for 2025. Not to mention Carowinds is also due for a coaster as well.
  17. Seems Kings Island is taking a page from Cedar Point.
  18. If the leaked blueprints are accurate, then it's a pretty safe bet it's going to be a B&M mini dive.
  19. Despite the issues the ride had, Top Thrill Dragster was still seen as one of Cedar Point's most iconic coasters. The top hat element is the tallest structure in the park and can be seen as Cedar Point's version of our Eiffel Tower. I don't think Cedar Point was going to fool the general public that this was going to be a completely different ride, especially considering most of the existing ride was still going to be there, so sticking with the Top Thrill naming made some sense there. Though I do agree that they should've added some sort of formula or other racing term in the name instead of just calling it "Top Thrill 2: Electric Boogaloo".
  20. Given that this was probably a last-minute addition due to the 2021 incident, I imagine Cedar Point went with Zamperla to save money on the investment compared to a manufacturer like Mack who is known for being expensive. This is just my speculation, though.
  21. I think it would be neat if at least one small park in the Cedar Fair chain got a Zamperla double heart coaster. Personally, I think if Kings Island were to get a new launch coaster at some point, I would still put my money on it being from Mack or B&M.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised if Xcelerator at Knotts gets the Zamperla treatment at some point considering it's about as much of a maintenance nightmare as TTD was. For Flight of Fear, however, it's harder to say. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears the Zamperla lightning trains were designed specifically for older Intamins, not premier rides launch coasters like FoF. Plus, the fact that FoF is an indoor coaster could make it more difficult to do any major modifications to the track and/or launch system.
