Which parks should every enthusiast visit?
SnakePlissken replied to TombRaiderFTW's topic in KI Polls
But you were not saying King's Island as a whole was more "Diversified" than Cedar Point. Your Diversified was describing the Arrows at King's Island. Of which my point still stands. My reply was regarding the Arrows at each park too. Not the parks as a whole. -

SnakePlissken replied to TombRaiderFTW's topic in KI Polls
You do realize King's Island only has two Arrows right? I would hardly call that "diverse". Meanwhile up north Cedar Point has 5. -
I will miss going to King's Island this year for Winterfest but I'm going to Carowinds and Dollywood for a weekend coming up soon so that will be better than nothing.

Indiana Beach Announcement
SnakePlissken replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I still love Indiana beach and I have made 2 trips there this year and been there in the park for 4 days. The second one being Halloween horror. That being said I still feel like they handled that announcement kinda badly and the park has areas in which it can improve on like the food. -
Your dining plan is good for all of 2021 too.

Indiana Beach Announcement
SnakePlissken replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
The food at Indiana Beach is terrible and that announcement was a bit of a joke. If you want good food there is a hole in the wall across the street from the parking lot called Wine and Whiskey Saloon. -
What Kings Island roller coaster do you want RMCed or GCIed?
SnakePlissken replied to Dj325's topic in KI Polls
The only answer is to name it recaR since the only way I want to see an RMC Racer is if it runs backwards. -
If they were only running the rides at the front of the park the one state theory might be right. I'm not sure exactly where the border runs in the park since I've only been there over one 2 day weekend. But they are going to operate Afterburn and Copperhead Strike.I think they are both in opposite corners all the way in the back of the park. I do not see any way of only operating South Carolina side since the park entrance is on the North Carolina side.

I wonder why they did not get the park open up in time for the Halloween season? They could have helped taken the load off of King's Island, Dollywood and Cedar Point. Also with the warmer weather down there they could have done some fall weekdays. I do not live down there so I do not know what restrictions if any have been lifted or whats changed since the planned end of July open date that the park scrapped.

I have had days before all this Covid madness as well where I did not have to empty my pockets. I've had days where the metal on my belt or a strip on a credit card sets it off. Most of the time that does not happen. I've had some days at some parks where I'm instructed to hold the items in my pockets in my hands high in the air. Had the security guard at Kennywood last fall insist I take my belt off. The metal in my glasses or my metal zippers on jackets and pants never seem to set them off. The inconsistency is what I do not understand.

What if Geauga Lake never closed?
SnakePlissken replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Why is it Pennsylvania can have so many different amusement parks and Ohio really only has 2. I know somebody might point out Stricker's Grove or the dry rides the Columbus zoo has but those don't really count. -
Things that need to be addressed by 2030
SnakePlissken replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Kings Island
They need to add a Wendy's in 3 locations inside the park so you and I can get our Baconator fix at any time with the meal plan. -
Cedar Point 10-10-2020 : WAY over capacity
SnakePlissken replied to Rifleman's topic in Trip Reports
Fast Lane lines are likely going to be overcrowded next year too. The all season sold out this year as it did last year. But they put 2021 season Fast Lane back up for sale even though anyone with 2020 all season Fast Lane is good for 2021. -
How about a Son of Beast 2.0 built by Gravity Group.

Flying Cobras is your answer.

Invertigo is one heck of a headbanger but all the other rides are good.

That $198 will buy you a platinum pass or a yearly pass at most parks not Disney or Universal and get you a whole year of fun.

I think this site would be much better off without Gforce1994 but that is just my opinion. He is always a negative Nancy and beating a dead horse. It is because if his kind of views I feel like I can't post in trip threads about my 10 day birthday vacation or announce where I go and when. Good forbid I go to Indiana beach. I'm gonna go to hell for doing so if you believe people like him. I usually like to stay out of drama but this year hasn't been normal at all.
