I am hoping to see a clone of this at Six Flags Great America in 2023 or 2024. The layout lines up nicely with the Buccaneer Battle/Hometown Park/Demon Funnel Cakes area. It looks like the coaster could go over the maintenance path and the Go Karts or the Go Karts could be removed. The entry/exit portal could go under the extreme airtime hill.

Cedar Fair Unveils Exciting Plans for 2022 Operating Season -
Not yet at least, but there is still time. It is a little concerning that the financial performance snapshot wasn't released after July 4th this year. I guess we will find out how bad the quarter was on Wednesday. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4439293-cedar-fair-facing-higher-costs-higher-debt-and-lower-attendance

I thought this was a bit odd and interesting. There is a construction bid listed for the pre-design phase of a project called Six Flags Over Fresno Amusement Park. https://www.construction.com/projects/dr-202100677434-six-flags-over-fresno-amusement-park https://www.construction.com/projects/?country=USA&query=amusement From January to April, there were rumors that Six Flags was looking at building an amusement park in Fresno and potentially relocating Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. https://thebusinessjournal.com/six-flags-over-fresno-negotiations-to-bring-amusement-park-are-real/

No one in their right mind wants to see AT&T buy anything. They are a poorly managed company that runs every company they buy into the ground. The good news is that AT&T isn't in a position to buy another company right now due to high debt levels and the costs of upgrading their wireless network to remain competitive. -

Has anyone heard anything about Skyhawk being sold to another park? -
If Cedar Fair got another park
DiamondbackFan replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I am not sure how SFGAm would rank against other Cedar Fair parks. In this article from May 27th, 2009, it says Six Flags Great America was the most profitable park in the chain and this was before the schedule was extended with Holiday in the Park. https://prev.dailyherald.com/story/?id=296367 -

What new attraction would make the best sense for KI?

A Gerstlauer Sky Roller might be another option. https://www.canadaswonderland.com/rides-experiences/skyhawk -
It would be interesting if the front of the park was redeveloped into a special event/entertainment zone and marketplace. Similar to what is in the master plan for California's Great America.

Discussing Land and Space in and around Vortex
DiamondbackFan replied to Klabergian Empire's topic in Kings Island
It's 2024 and the hedge fund that is now running Cedar Fair decides to rightsize the coaster lineup at Kings Dominion. Intimidator 305 is relocated to Kings Island and the park finally gets a giga coaster.
