Does anyone else think this change is a sign that Cedar Fair also put Valleyfair up for sale? No, it isn't. If you read the SEC filing, Cedar Fair only sold the land and still has ownership of everything else on the property.

Based on the rides Carowinds is getting for 2023, a Zamperla Nebulaz would be cheap and fit on the existing Slingshot pad. I wouldn't mind seeing a Zamperla Air Race in this location, but it will require a larger concrete pad to be constructed.

The press release and SEC filing make it sound like Spanos was fired and pushed out by the Board of Directors over the weekend. The new CEO, Selim Bassoul, was the Chairman of the Board and should have a solid understanding of the company.
