  1. Intamin issued a recall after an issue was found with a similar ride operated by United Parks. Not much Six Flags could do to prevent this delay.
  2. Six Flags Mexico construction update: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGi9P-tLriw Six Flags Mexico official announcement: https://static.sixflags.com/website/files/sfmx_boomerang.pdf Edit: Also, the play structure from Cedar Point's Forbidden Frontier was shipped down to Six Flags Mexico and will be part of the new family area.
  3. ^ The Town Hall building in that area of the park is being converted into a haunted house for HalloWeekends.
  4. Screamscape is wrong. Dollywood is working with Mack Rides. https://parkfans.net/threads/dollywood-project-2026-40th-anniversary-addition.7729/page-5#post-329306
  5. ^ Carowinds, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Over Texas, and Six Flags Mexico are all under construction and have permits. It looks like Six Flags New England's new for 2025 coaster will be pushed to 2026 due to Intamin issues. Six Flags Great America is unlikely to leak before the announcement and they don't start construction this early. Six Flags Great Adventure is rumored to be delayed a year or changed due to tarriff costs. I am having trouble looking up Kings Island permits because the City of Mason changed their permitting website to a different vendor that isn't as transparent. A handful of odd shipments have appeared. 3 possible B&M shipments for Six Flags Great Escape that docked in Houston and a mystery Six Flags shipment from Vekoma that came off a ship in New York.
  6. We have. The cages that hold the footer bolts are on site and from Mack Rides.
  7. The FAA filings are in the front of the park.
  8. Shipping records indicate this is going to be a Vekoma SFC. Two FAA filings show a structure height of 67 ft.
  9. I am hoping to see Six Flags Great America make the switch from Looney Tunes to Peanuts with the 2026 project.
  10. ^ I think there are 6 regional park directors now. It sounds like Jeffrey Siebert and John Krajnak are moving into those roles. They were already running multiple parks.
  11. No, she is the Regional Director of Public Relations for the Midwest Region. Tony Clark is on her team and covers Cedar Point, Michigan's Adventure, and Six Flags Great America as a Regional Manager of Public Relations.
  12. Yes, they said the new app comes out in July. Also working on in park wifi for all parks so that it is easier to use the app.
  13. A few things from the webcast: Kings Island has the highest market penetration in the entire chain. Fiesta Texas is already a high market penetration park. Need to increase market penetration at Magic Mountain, Over Texas, Over Georgia, Chicago, NJ. They want to boost attendance by at least 10 million at low market penetration parks and think they can get 7 million of that from Magic Mountain, Over Georgia, and Over Texas. Lots of money going to the big five legacy Six Flags parks because they are all underperforming their markets. Thrill and family attactions are planned out for future years at Magic Mountain.
  14. Check Google Earth with Historical Imagery turned on. The newest images are from March 9, 2025.
  15. Here is a link to the property listing: https://www.cbredealflow.com/handler/modern.aspx?pv=Z-I9J549zUFsSziezRAUlDpkNDIIt7xMO5qE_h7gISzRPnQ5IPCRP7U1-PRJGopf#_top
  16. Two new trademarks were filed by Six Flags subsidiary Millennium Operations LLC. I am pretty sure Rip Roarin' Falls is for the new ride at Carowinds that is replacing Rip Roarin' Rapids. The other trademark is Timber Hallow.
  17. Six Flags is required to remove everything from the land as part of their deal with Prologis. Santa Clara rezoned the land in the fall last year and will most likely rezone it again when Prologis presents a development plan.
  18. They are being forced out. https://www.semafor.com/article/03/10/2025/six-flags-dendur-strike-deal-for-four-board-seats
  19. Here is a breakdown of the owned and leased parks from the new annual report. Six Flags plans to purchase the remaining shares of the Georgia and Texas partnership parks in 2027 and 2028.
  20. I doubt they would cover all 40 acres. Six Flags Great America is only covering 15 acres of parking lot with their 6.4 megawatt project.
  21. Does the park own the Skycoaster or is it leased from Ride Entertainment?
  22. This is the project Six Flags Mexico planned to build for 2025 before running into resistance from the local government. Cedar Point had a flat piece of land available and could use something to distract from the TT2 issues.
  23. It's not, this is a clone of Snoopy's Racing Railway at Canada's Wonderland. https://rcdb.com/20343.htm
  24. One of the concepts in the passholder survey was to use The Vortex land to extend The Beast and create The Beast 2.0. https://old.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/1eiqazj/passholder_survey_at_kings_island_shows_a_concept/
