  1. The original Montgomery Inn is just a bit south. The Boathouse? No. The Blue Ash Chili they are talking about is at the Western Row I-71 exit.
  2. ...only as part of a ride package or as merchandise. Six Flags is the exclusive US regional/seasonal theme/amusement park licensee. That won't likely change. Not to mention I doubt the current dog of FUN parks licensor would be amused.
  3. Who said ANYTHING about the chili at Blue Ash Chili? Reubens were mentioned. Blue Ash Chili has a WIDE menu. The chili is, in my opinion, the blandest and most mediocre in Cincinnati.
  4. ...because, like Blue Ash Chili, that isn't a chain? Terp, who "likes" to ask questions.
  5. Email notifications of likes stop for anyone else? What about PM email notifications? My last came Tuesday....
  6. Don't you love it when you tell a joke and minutes (hours, weeks, months) later, someone gets it!
  7. Less than 10 percent will be a Meijer. IF Meijer doesn't drop out of the project.
  8. If it isn't a mistake (though it probably is), sell you one thing, deliver another. And you CANNOT take your dollars outside the park during Haunt. No re-entry. Which was the point.
  9. 25 percent of visitors from out of state is the requirement, as widely reported by the press at time of approval. Most articles are pay-walled. Here: http://www.google.com/search?q=Kentucky+kingdom+out+state+visitors+tax+incentives+percentage&oq=Kentucky+kingdom+out+state+visitors+tax+incentives+percentage&gs_l=mobile-heirloom-serp.12...3148.42995.0.44066.86.83.0.1.1.0.919.919.6-1.1.0....0...1c.1.34.mobile-heirloom-serp..84.2.1394.6dsVGeG16CY
  10. There are out of state visitor targets AND attendance targets in the bank financing, or so I have been told. The Bank of Kentucky, which was closely related to Mr. Hart, has also since been sold....to BB&T. Public records requests have nothing to do with corporate banking.
  11. "Ride, Sally, Ride!" Nostalgic Terp, MMIX
  12. Orange County Approves: http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/news/2015/12/01/orange-county-approves-500m-skyplex-project-on-i.html?ana=e_orl_bn_breakingnews&u=pB2D54PrJ4m%2Btf5T51zZ5o6bDaJ&t=1449015097

  14. There are attendance targets that are required by the tax incentives (particularly as to percentage of out of state visitors--hence 2015's emphasis on marketing in Indiana and Tennessee) and, for all we know, the Bank of Kentucky agreement. I truly doubt the park lowered the price because sales were going so well. Especially given who runs the park. And especially now. Of all times.
  15. Also known as apparently season pass sales aren't meeting projections....
  16. Regardless of what the deal apparently was when a Platinum All Season Dining Plan was purchased? Terp, who likes to ask, sometimes inconvenient, questions.
  17. I drove to Kings Dominion for a Hurler ACE event, to find the coaster wasn't complete yet. It was an 8 hour drive each way. Does that count?
  18. It appears to be the bankruptcy judge's theory that Pennsylvania law provides that taxes owed on an insured property are to be deducted from an insurance settlement and paid. Park Restoration contests this and has already said it plans to appeal.
  19. The Wall Street Journal Bankruptcy Reporter has picked up a one liner on the Meadville Tribune's last story--that the Judge ordered mediation.
