I understand where the park is coming from and I do agree that no one should be on park property at any time when the park is closed, We can all wait to see the ride running up close in April. Small story though, on the same note. This site (KIC) asked me in 2007 to go to the parking lot and take photos of Firehawk track arriving in the parking lot. I was very disappointed with Rock and Roll never forget, it remains one of the worst shows I have seen anywhere. I do wish we would get more out of house shows like Ed Alonzo. Cedar Fair sometimes has a winner when it comes to shows... but sadly most of the time they don't live up to expectations Paramount and/or Taft brought to the park.

No ride should be re-themed at KI because as a former worker who strived to get theme working again, I was always let down by the Tech Services crew who did nothing to keep it alive. Remember the theme lights that were rusting away in The Beast station that magically returned one day in 2012, that wasn't Tech Services, that was from another department who hated seeing the theme become gone and forgotten (which again was not their responsibility). Remember TRTR... not much needs to be said on that, if anything it proved that this park is unable to retain high theme.

Love the FoF construction pic. I'd love to see photos from inside FoF while running with people. That's something I have never seen.

Everything was automated, the panel was a touchscreen... there was another drive booth called the technical director right across from the drive panel.

Of all the coasters I wish I could have ridden, it is The Bat. Yeah I know it should be capitalized but the fact that we have turned into a forum that kicks each other over punctuation has gone to far. If 13 year olds can join this forum do you honestly think grammar and proper punctuation will be followed? This is a Internet forum, not a classroom. Anyway.. The coaster just had an interesting layout and looks like one fun ride.

^^^Because as we all know bats live on aircraft carriers.^^^ Anyway, I hope they add sound effects and or themeing to the line as you walk back towards the station. Maybe some bat sounds coming from the trees. But lets be honest... they wont.

With temps warming this week, everyone will probably haul and get as much done as possible. Before the rains come, we should be able to spike into the upper 50s, if not low 60s. Then next week cold sets in again. To reinforce the video, I found this picture online. This pretty much confirms my previous thoughts that they had removed 3-4 feet of dirt under the lowest parts of the track, to allow for safe travel throughout the circuit. Also confirming that sometimes the PR guy doesn't know all the final details.. remember that time he said no extra digging would occur?

Amazing news that starlight is gone... 3 years late but still great news. As someone who helped put it together it was beyond embarrassing walking through it the past few years

It counts as a batwing. But what makes up a batwing are a reverse side-winder into a side-winder. Banshee's "batwing" actually counts as a pretzel knot. (rcdb will back me up on that, thankfully) Which consists of a dive loop into an immelman (or the two elements of a batwing) that cross the exit and entrance paths over one another. Small differences, but when you're someone like me, they are important to acknowledge. For 'someone like me', it's just two inversions...

The only time I have ever seen KI close its gates was the very first bring a friend free day during the paramount era. All lots were full and parking extended to the grass past Boomerang Bay. TRTR had a 3 hour line, Beast had a 4 hour line, Even the train had a line all the way to white water. If I remember correctly the count of the day at peak was almost 70K.
