Just quoting part of the reverse POV here, censored the quote since it did use some adult language. I couldn't help but smile at that reverse POV when they said, "We ******* Did it". Just the look of success of their face to having achieved a coaster they had been working so long on getting. I hope to get the 'chance' to ride it, it looks like a great coaster. I have to issue with the restraints, can't judge by looks alone but I think they look very comfortable. I don't care about swinging my legs around, just as long as I can put my hands up I am happy!

For an up charge the crew can buy a water bottle, yes they can fill it up before their shifts.

Got my chance to ride it last Friday (loved it) and with no lines, I found myself riding it over and over again. Easily my favorite ride in the park. I think the crew made it a little more exiting too, they were pumping and working hard from when I first saw them during ERT, to hours later when the park was going into the closing hours. While stacking does occur, I found it was not an effect of them being slow but other causes which for me is totally acceptable. HOWEVER, (Here it comes you guys) I feel I need to speak out on one negative thing I found out while in line for the ride. It was coming to my last ride before leaving the park and I noticed something that the Banshee station was missing that all other rides had, water for the crew. You have seen them before, the big orange barrels. As a former ride op I remember these things as gold and being the only thing that had me make it through the long hot days. So I had to ask one of the workers (in this case the separator), about it and his answer completely bamboozled me. The managers believe having those barrels would look to "Tacky" in the station and their greeter so they opted out of having it (and with it water for the crew). I am sorry but this is completely outrageous, to not allow water because they are more concerned with the look of the ride than the crew that runs it! This is a very hard working crew and when it comes time about a month from now when the humidity comes, I don't see how anyone will be able to work more than an hour without H2O. End rant, my only negative thing. Please KI, reconsider this before someone passes out! Edit, apparently they don't have water at their greeter position, not the station.

SOB and Voyage still to this day are my favorite wooden coasters. Now I have not been on Voyage in a long long time so I don't know how it is now but no matter the roughness, I still think it is a better terrain coaster than Beast. PS, TRTR was the parks 2nd most expensive price tag. Shame my two favorite rides in the park had to be taken away.

You must of had no TV or a lot of blackouts in your area to not have heard of the Flintstones or Jetsons!

My favorite line from the video in regards to keeping the original characters and nostalgic charm from the then Media guy, "It's really important to know that the old Kings Island is still here, were just enhancing the product and expanding to the park. Everything you know and love about the park is still here" I still wish we had Hannah Barbara! Cedar Fair came in and it was very apparent they wanted everything changed. More than was needed.

Where ever you go, no matter the park there will always be a form of line jumping. This act happens in places other than parks too. Now for the way the staff responded to the event, KI has policies and procedures put in place and one of them is that 2 different groups must report a line jumper in order for them to ask them to leave. Policies like this are put into place to help with these kinds of problems, and they evolve and change as the company grows in order to create the best possible answer/outcome to any situation. This is their way of handling it and I personally have no qualms with it and believe it works.

Most coasters would have an increase of capacity if they did not have seat belts. The fact is this coaster was advertised as a high capacity coaster, and with the addition of seat belts they ultimately cut the hourly capacity down by at least 400 people. It is just very strange that only CF parks added seat belts to their B&M hypers, a coaster style that has had no notable restraint malfunctions. Buckling a seat belt in a normal circumstance like in a car may take no time at all, but in an amusement park these things can take minutes to accomplish (trust me I have seen it).

According to all reports on KIC and other fan sites, capacity has been dramatically affected on all these coasters, which is a shame. Where is the line that makes a coaster need seat belts or not. For example Vortex and Flight Deck receiving seat belts, but then having them removed a few seasons later.

If you think you will be going to the park more than once then go for a pass, it pays itself off after 2 visits. My answer would be to go for it. I'll be returning from my job in Baltimore in about a week, I also plan on buying a pass even though I will only be in Ohio for 2 months.

Those drapes are from the 2005 Winterfest, they were left there for the next season. I also agree they were really nice and could use a comeback.

/\You forgot to add your stuff about the Earth. Anyway, I really do hope they do not go for the Maxair look, when it came to color schemes Delirium was truly one of the best. So far I do not like the orange and the checkers being gone, but as this is not the final product I can't say yet if I will truly not like it, looks like a giant miscolored match right now.

Why is it so many parks are able to build their coasters while retaining so many trees yet KI removed IMO an unnecessary amount for Diamondback and Banshee

Lex Luthor is by far the best drop ride I have ever been on, folks in the north east are in for an amazing experience.

Has there been any word on the night time ride effects recently? If there will be ground fog I hope to see it soon on the webcam.

Yes there are things that the park does that I don't agree with (like this rumored seatbelt) but I still love the park. I'm not pushing some agenda buddy and you should not falsely label me as one. Just because a baby is crying on a plane I'm not going to push some movement to stop crying babies on planes but I can still be annoyed by it.

And you How much worse than last year could it get? Apparently they had the most in the rides history, I guess they forgot to hit the empty seat button because we all know that's impossible.Or maybe just maybe it only seemed slow for you guys. I know I had no issue with the Diamondback line last year even though I was looking for problems because of whiners like you guys. I heard the same thing. I don't know PKIVortex but I find it interesting that both he and I have heard the same news.
