  1. They fill from the back at least the ones I've used. You get a code to enter and it unlocks the door locker.
  2. Mobile ordering is fairly cool. I would love to see it more available.
  3. The definitely have the capability to run sales on merch. Winterfest at one point had 50% off certain merch. What they spend to purchase is just a small fraction of the cost of what we pay. I cannot always justify paying $30ish for a shirt but if it's closer to $20 or lower I likely will. I love the pins but I cannot justify $10 for a pin no bigger than a quarter. I think about all the non park related merch, why purchase that (at a higher cost such as Salt Life, Billabong, etc) and not sell nearly as much? Sales from carts would be great! Buy a pretzel get a 2nd 1/2 off, ice cream bogo. I have yet to get fun perks this season from any of my park visits in the chain. There is the occasional email of "perks" for signing up for a loyalty program of another business. There really cannot be a good reason to continue having someone in that position if they aren't able to actually give perks in park. Food pricing, while I have the meal plan, is insane and detracts from buying. At Cedar Point last weekend I got breakfast at Grand Pavilion and used my meal plan. I had planned on leaving the park before dinner so no big deal. Well my boss gave me the next day off so I decided to stay the remainder of the day. So I had one meal plan to use from 12-10. I ate a late lunch and decided that due to meal pricing I'd just eat outside of the park after my day was over. The overhead cost of the dining program cannot be that much per meal, which I can see bringing in a bigger profit margin per meal, but I'd bet they'd sell more if the cost per meal were lower. I don't know the solution but I know as a consumer I definitely would like to pay less so I can buy more.
  4. I hope that a cirque type show comes back. Cirque Imagine and Gravity were my favorites of the shows we had. I really enjoyed Dimensions at Canada's Wonderland and would love for that show to come to KI. While I enjoy PTE, after the first couple times seeing it, I got kinda tired of it. It's a great show...just not my cup of tea. This season, I've watched "Come See About Me" at Cedar Point 26 times and I am sad that I won't be able to see it for the remainder of it's run at the park. The talent is amazing, the songs (Motown) are great and the storyline is a good one. It honestly shocked me when I would be waiting for doors to open, I'd see kids from 5 and up, as well as teenagers, adults and senior citizens lining up to see the show. It does have a broad appeal. If you are able to get to CP by the 13th, do so and go see "Come See About Me."
  5. SOMEHOW, that doesn't surprise me.
  6. I hope that Mack at some point comes to more Cedar Fair parks...as of now there are approx 28 Mack Coasters in the United States. With Copperhead Strike being the most recent traditional (not counting Aquaman) coaster. Kings Dominion, Carowinds, and Knott's Berry Farm are the only parks within the family that are Mack. Of the Mack rides that I have been on, they are quite fun....the largest scale of theirs that I have been on would be Time Traveler and I love that coaster. Would love to see a similar concept near KI, if not at KI.
  7. If it was necessary to redo the fountains, why didn't they just go with a similar style like KD has. Much better than what we have.

  9. So a normal cycle on Music Express at Indiana Beach?! Lol
  10. I'm far from perfect, but the history of the person in charge of tweeting, is constantly tweeting with grammatical errors and incorrect information. He does get paid to do this, so you'd think he'd do it well.
  11. In any given year, I visit the park about 15-20 times, I don't live close enough to go often and my work schedule doesn't allow more. CP is just a better experience for me this year, has since they opened for the season. Coasterstock for me was good, but I didn't feel much joy from it like I have in the past.
  12. I'm not sure what it is, but this season, I've really felt like the park is lackluster and not really feeling like visiting much. I've been going to CP way more often. Saturday I have the choice of going to KI or CP, but chose CP again. Just not feeling KI.
  13. A friend and I visited CP the same day....he got a survey, I didn't. I wonder how they choose who gets a survey.
  14. Dorney's Facebook yesterday.
  15. I ended up getting one at Coastermania one year...no idea where it is.
  16. I don't remember hearing any music on Banshee's lift.
  17. I have yet to get a survey from any Cedar Fair park that I've visited.
  18. It is not.
  19. My problem with the audio is I have a really hard time hearing it on the lift. Whether it's my hard hearing or the chain dogs, I'm not sure but it's definitely not loud enough.
  20. Actually, Ive been here before and am good friends with @malemand @IndyGuy4KI. Not a burner account nor a troll. And as far as Tony goes, yes he has.
  21. So profound. Did you come up with that on your own or were you told to give that sentence?
  22. I just wish the barrels would spin more or be easier to spin.
  23. Tony totally does answer questions on his account.
  24. I somewhat agree. Unfortunately he operates his Twitter as if it is park owned. It just not a good look for the park eitherway. Guests asking questions "DM me" and/or blocked. I would imagine corporate would frown upon private communications as they can't necessarily monitor them.
